No Corners Cut, No Pacifying, No Round-About Way

“There is an Old Saying: The Main Thing is to keep the Main Thing the Main Thing.”

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN)— I want you to know that as followers of Jesus Christ, we are to be constantly aware that the devil is out to destroy us. Revelation tells us Satan has declared all-out war on God’s saints. [Revelation 12:12]. While many Christians slumber at this midnight hour, just as Jesus predicted, the devil is working ferociously, making preparation for war. He is keenly aware of the short time he has to accomplish his evil purposes, so he gives his eyes no rest. That’s why Peter gives us this warning: Be sober, be diligent, because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour [1 Peter 5:8].

Listen, the devil knows he has only a short time left to work on you, and he’s going to try everything he can to keep you from answering God’s call! The gospel of Luke tells us of a father who brought his demon-possessed son to Jesus. Christ told the father, Bring thy son hither. And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and seized him [Luke 9:41-42].

This young man was coming to Christ about to be set free, translated out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light. The devil saw he was about to lose another victim. So, in a rage, he threw the young man to the ground in one last, violent attack. He wanted to kill him and take his soul before Jesus could deliver him!

Satan will try to do the same thing to you today. The moment you move toward Christ, he’ll attempt one last devouring attack. But let me remind you: The instant you move toward Jesus, the devil is rendered helpless. He can’t stop anyone who’s headed to Christ! He couldn’t keep the demon-possessed young man from reaching Jesus.

You can be free today. You can say to Satan, when I finish reading this message, I’m going to be a free person. Jesus is my Savior and he’s going to deliver me. Yes, I tell you, if you want to send Hell into a panic…. Give your life to Jesus.  You see from the moment the devil hears that knock on the door of your heart, until the time you open and receive Christ, all of Hell goes into a panic! Go ahead and make Hell tremble! Line up with God’s Word and will for your life. Let the Anointing of Jesus go forth from within you. All of Hell will tremble. And you will never be quite the same again. Be like Peter, one day that rock of a man struck fear in Satan’s kingdom! Why want you strike fear in Satan’s kingdom and give your life to Christ today…..Whatcha say?

And to those who are reading this- We must realize God has given us weapons to employ in the battle. We don’t have to stand by helplessly when our friends and loved ones are threatened or taken captive by the enemy. No, we are equipped to tear down the gates of Hell and bring them out. Jude tells us to “convince some who doubt; save some by snatching them out of the fire; on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” [Jude 22, 23, KJV]

Understand it is our job to do the snatching. Christ has shed His blood and He intercedes on our behalf incessantly. Our part is to pick up our weapons and go out against the powers of darkness and drive them off the land. Christ bought us with His own blood — we belong to Him. And so, by the same token, do all men. John said that Jesus “is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world” [I John 2.2] No person is exempt from Christ’s work of salvation. What remains is for us to work with God — to fight the good fight that loosens Satan’s hold on lost men and women and compels them to come into the banquet hall.

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [1 John 3:8]

“I Tell You…There Is A Danger in Missing the Message!”

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN)— As unpopular as it may be, it behooves us to take heed to the message. You see, despite the fact that the people mocked Jeremiah and God because it seemed that Jeremiah brought nothing but God’s sad news of condemnation. This sad news was the truth. Jeremiah may have been tempted to leave out the parts that would turn his audience against him, would sound too harsh, or would make him sound like a traitor. But by God’s command, he was not to delete parts of God’s message to suit himself, his audience, or the circumstances in which he found himself. [Jeremiah 26:2]. I tell you, there is a danger in missing the message!

Early in the reign of Jehoiakim/son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came from the Lord. “This is what the Lord says: Tell them everything I command you; do not omit a word. Perhaps they will listen, and each will turn from his evil way. Then I will relent and not bring on them the disaster I was planning because of the evil they have done. Say to them, “This is what the Lord says: If you do not listen to me and follow my law, which I have set before you, and if you do not listen to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I have sent to you again and again [though you have not listen], then I will make your house like Shiloh and your city an object of cursing among all the nations of the earth…” Now reform your ways and your actions and obey the Lord your God. Then the Lord will relent and not bring the disaster he has pronounced against you. [Jeremiah 26:1-6; 13]

I tell you God is still merciful and patient, and will always give warning to His people before He performs His mighty acts. Know that the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. [2 Peter 3:3-5]… God is not slack! We must under that! He will perform His good work, and will bring His word to pass! And He says that He does not want any of us to perish, but that we should all come to repentance! God’s Word is full of warning for His people, if we will only heed.

In [Matthew 24:32-35] Jesus said that when we see world events now occurring, we are to know that this end is very near. Yet of the day and hour we cannot know. Yet when it strikes it will strike suddenly, unexpectedly, like a trap that springs shut on a hapless rat without warning. So the message today for God’s people and nations, is to Wake up! Be reminded and become aware of these things which will soon affect every single one of us! Time will not just “continue on” the way it has, so says the Bible. But before all this happens, and even as it begins to happen, God is faithful, and His Word says that someone will see [Ezekiel 33:3] the sword coming upon the land, and this someone is commanded to give warning or indeed lose his own life also!

Listen, God invited Noah and his family aboard the ark with the words, “Enter the ark.” [Genesis 7:1]. That’s His invitation to you today. God has not yet closed the door of salvation. At the end of the Bible, after warning of the judgment to come, God’s final appeal is, “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost” [Revelation 22:17]. But lest you put it off, the Bible goes on in the next to the last verse to warn, “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly” [Revelation 22:20].

I tell you, Jesus is coming to judge the earth; He invites you to come aboard before He comes to close the door. Come to Christ now! A call of mercy before judgment!  Jesus said in [Genesis 6], “My spirit shall not always strive with man…. Will you heed the warning?

“For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eight person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly.” [2 Peter 2:4-6] do you see what the Lord is telling us here. It is a warning to us that we should not follow in their footsteps by practicing the same sins, Otherwise, we will be destroyed too when Jesus returns. “I tell you… There is a Danger in Missing the Message!”

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life…..” [Deuteronomy 30:19]

“To Everything There Is A Season, and a Time to Every Purpose Under the Heaven”

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN)— “A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing. A time to get, and a time to lose. A time to keep, and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; a time to be silent, and a time to speak. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace…” [Ecclesiastes 3:1-22].

With that being the case, Paul asks us to consider if there is anything in our lives we would regret not repenting of [1 Thessalonians 5:15] if so, then the time to repent will be now! According to the Bible, “the appointed time has grown very short” [1 Corinthians 7:29]. “The end of all things is at hand….” [1Peter 4:7]. Christ’s return is imminent and his timeline makes it urgent!

I want you to know that the great themes of [Revelation] have already unfolded and the doors have been opened. The Kingdom has already been ushered in. The Bible says that the Tribulation will be ushered in by a great time of world peace, and the world is screaming for peace. Lawlessness, false religions, devil worship and apostasy are in the heyday and these are signs of the end.

I tell you today is a day of mercy and grace. God is gently calling out to those who are backslidden, those who have grown cold and those who need to make things right with Him. The first call of Jesus is of love and forgiveness. The second call is, “You make a move!” The Bible says, “Today if you hear His voice harden not your heart.” “Behold now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation.” This is the time for you to get right with God and deal with this mercy. Tomorrow may be too late. “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.” [Isaiah 55:6].

If you are caught unprepared when Christ returns, you will have no one but yourself to blame, because God’s Word has already given you such ample warning that you have really no excuse! Jesus has already informed us that His coming will take place unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. Please do not let that warning go unheeded. Act upon it now.

If there is anyone reading this who is still outside the Lord Jesus Christ, let me urge you not to delay. Jesus wants you to come to Him today. The Lord says ‘now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.’ [2 Corinthians 6:2]. Please do not keep putting off this important matter. “To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose in Heaven.”

“The Word of the Lord Came to Me Again, Saying…!”

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN)— “Blow the trumpet and warn the people. Say unto them, as I live, saith the Lord, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked: but rather that the wicked should turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! For why should you die?” [Ezekiel 33:11]. Judgment is about to come to the earth like never before. The storm is about to break in all of its fury. Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. [Luke 13:3].

“For if you go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.” There will be no salvation. If you reject Christ, there’s no way to be saved. [Hebrews 10:26]. That’s what the writer is saying. There is no other sacrifice, there is no other provision. All you have then is a “certain terrifying expectation of judgment.” This is described as the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries, the fiery furious judgment of hell where the worm dies not, the fire is not quenched, blackness and darkness forever, weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth in eternal torment. Repent while it is still day!

The Lord clearly points out that the time is short and what is about to come to pass in the fulfillment of His prophecy. He says, as He slew the first-born of Egypt from the Pharaoh to the cattle, so it will be to those that refuse to turn from their evil and wicked ways and seek his gift of salvation.

The warning to repent has been given!

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live…” [Deuteronomy 30:19]

“Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them. The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water… the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light might be darkened, and a third of the day might be kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night. Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, “Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!” Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. The sixth angel sounded: demonic army of horsemen released to kill a third of mankind…But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

“The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.” [Luke 10: 1-16]

“The Handwriting on The Wall!”

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN— God’s Warning to a Doomed Generation – “The Greatest Prophecy in the Bible”–soon to be fulfilled. You see, Jesus made a promise. He said, “I will come again.” [Matthew 24:36], “But of that day and hour knoweth no man; not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” But He says we can know when the end is near. Jesus gave signs concerning His coming and we are seeing those things and hearing those things today. Whole chapters of God’s Holy Word deal almost exclusively with signs regarding the end of time. Matthew 24 is one of those; Revelation 6 is another; Luke 21 is another. “Ah”, but you say, “People have been talking about the coming of Jesus for generation after generation after generation. If it’s really going to happen, why hasn’t He already come?” I’ll tell you why. The Bible says in [2 Peter 3:9], “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” You see, God is so merciful and so good, and He loves us so desperately that He refuses to punish the guilty without giving them sufficient warning and offering them an alternative, a way out of damnation.

I want you to know that God has always sent a warning message to each doomed generation. When you look back in your Bible you will see that there was a time when the whole earth was going to be destroyed by water. God sent a preacher who preached his heart out for one hundred and twenty years. His name was Noah. In spite of all his preaching, only eight people were saved. Then there were the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. God said to Abraham, “I`m going to destroy those cities. And Abraham pleaded with God and said, “Lord, if I find fifty people, would You spare it?” And the Lord said, “Yes.” And when he couldn’t find them he said, “Lord, if I could find…” and he came all the way down to ten! But he couldn’t even find ten people in two whole cities. That ought to startle us. For the Bible records that only four people left those two wicked cities before God’s judgment fell, and one of those left her affections there, turned back, and became a pillar of salt. Only three people lived out of two whole cities! The rest thought they could live on in their wickedness, and their immorality and their decadence, and ignore the warning message of God. But the time of judgment came. Jesus said, “As it was in the days of Noah, and as it was in the days of Lot, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be” [Matthew 24:37, Luke 17:26-28].

I tell you, we had better listen to the warning message of God before it is eternally too late, because the handwriting of God’s judgment is on the wall: mene, tekel, upharsin… Mene meaning the time has run out. Finished! Over! No more opportunities! No more second chances! Your number is up! You’re finished! And that’s the way it happens. Suddenly! The finger of God writes on our wall the word mene when we least expect it, when we seem to be at rest and flourishing and partying through life. And then, it’s over. Finished! The Bible says, “it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” The Bible challenges us” to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Next is the word Tekel meaning weighed. If you never receive Christ as your personal Savior you’ll be weighed on the scales of God by your own life and your own merits. Then the final word written on the wall – Upharsin. A noun from a verb meaning “to break in two,” to separate, to divide… Divide the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the tares. Make no mistake about it the handwriting is on the wall! The Bible says, “Therefore, be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh” [Matthew 24:44]. He came to Sodom and Gomorrah when the people did not expect Him. He came in the days of Noah when they didn’t think He would come. And it happened in Babylon, when they were having a good time. They didn’t think it would happen. But I tell you today, the handwriting is on the wall—something is about to take place very soon. Prophecy is being fulfilled on every hand. Jesus is getting ready to come back for His people, for His church and the signs are all about us.

Bible prophecy tells us that there will only be two groups at that time. One group will cry for the rocks to fall on them and destroy them; they are not ready. The other group will look up with joy and say, “Lo, this is our God, we have waited for Him and He will save us” [Isaiah 25:9]. I want to be part of that group that’s ready when Jesus comes. How about you?

Let’s not wait for “The Hand Writing On The Wall” to tell us it is too late, that judgment has been passed and the sentence is final.

Let’s instead heed “The Hand That Wrote On The Ground” [i.e., Jesus, John 8:6, 8]; while there is still time for mercy and forgiveness…

“Oh, I Tell You…The Cost of Lingering – When God Speaks!”

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN— Listen, life is short, and we do not know what will happen tomorrow [James 4:13-14]. The Bible urges us to get right with God today [Luke 12:40]. God illustrated the importance of being prepared for His coming in [Matthew 25:1-13]. This message is a reminder, a word of warning or caution for those who are so busy living from day to day they forget how completely fragile and uncertain life is. Simply stated by James, our lives are only a mist, a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Here today and gone tomorrow; here one minute and gone the next. In the Bible, Paul writes, for He [God] says: “… Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” [2 Corinthians 6:2].  If you do not know Jesus Christ as your own personal Savior, I beg you today to give your life to Jesus. No one has a guarantee that they’ll live another day. Life is short. Eternity is long.  Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of Salvation.” [Isaiah 49:8].

Don’t be like Lot …When it was Time for Decisive Action, Lot lingered…When Heavenly Messengers Were Urging Him to Go, Lot lingered…When Judgment was Imminent, Lot lingered! Lot was highly favored, and in the midst of a general destruction angels were sent to take care of him. He had received a warning which many had not heard – and he had felt the terror that warning would excite. Lot stood in the condition of one who knew that he must leave the city, for it was about to be destroyed. He intended to hurry, but he hesitated. Being slow to move when fully aware that judgment is swift to overtake is very dangerous. Had Lot hastened as the Lord desired him to, his wife would not have become a pillar of salt. Lot had too much of a lingering spirit. Let us not be like him. The same voice that warned Lot to leave Sodom bids us, repent while it is still day! For neither time, nor death, nor judgment linger. Decide for Christ before it is too late. Escape for your life! [Genesis 19:17] Remember Lot’s wife,” as a fearful warning, says the Lord. She became cold, careless, and disobedient. Finally the judgments of God fell upon her, and she became a pillar of salt.

There is a warning that the patience of God with unbelievers and unrepentant people will one day come to an end. It is a warning both for the people of God and for the world. “Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is” [Ephesians 5:15-17]. “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while He is near” [Isaiah 55:6]… the Son of Man will come at an hour when we least expect Him.” [Matthew 24:44] God warns each one of us to be ready.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death… Now choose life…” [Deuteronomy 30:15-20]

“Considering the Alternatives…!”

Lou Coleman-Yeboah

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN)— Two Gates – Two Roads– Two Destinations – Two Groups of People – How You Living?

You see, in His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus spoke about two paths of life and the final destination of each one [Matt. 7:13-27]. To emphasize His point, He contrasted small and wide gates, narrow and broad ways, good fruit versus bad fruit, saying versus doing, and the wise man versus the foolish man. In each case, one way led to destruction and the other to life. Considering the Alternatives, How You Living?

The Broad Way….. The way that says it’s my prerogative, I’ll do what I want to do! I’ll live like I want to live; I’ll make my own decisions and not answer to anyone. Go where I want to go, do what I want to do and be what I want to be. It is my life and ain’t nobody going tell me what to do and how to do it! Well, Well, Well. If that is your life, I want you to know that the Bible strongly admonitions you not to travel this path [Proverbs 4:14-15]. “Avoid it, do not travel on it.” “Turn away from it and pass on.”  It enslaves – [John 8:34] it dulls the senses [Ephesians 4:19] it becomes a life of wickedness and violence – [Proverbs 4:17]. Final destination- Hell!

The Narrow Way… Not my will but Your will Lord! [Matthew 7:21-23].  Faith and obedience. Those who hear and do Christ’s commands!  He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves me.  Those who walk this road are discipline, practice self-restraint and avoid sinful practices. It’s the way of the few. The narrow way is the path of wisdom. Those who walk it listen and accept instruction from the Lord [Prov. 4:10-14]. It’s the path of following Jesus. Those who enter the small gate believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for their sins. They trust Him as their personal Savior and surrender their lives to Him [2 Corinthians. 5:17]. The consequences of choosing this path”…the years of your life will be many.” – [Proverbs 4:10] “When you walk, your steps will not be hindered” – [Proverbs 4:12]”And when you run, you will not stumble.” – [Proverbs 4:12b] “Keep her, for she is your life.” [Proverbs 4:13] — The path of wisdom is what God would have you take!

Where’s your road taking you? Have you thought it over? Where will you end up when you leave this world? Will it be Heaven or will it be Hell? Will it be the narrow way of walking with God or the broad way of anything goes? Where will you end up? Paul gives us a very important word in [2 Corinthians 13:5], he says, “Examine yourselves!

Hear the Son of God again… “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” [Matthew 7:13-14]

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you that I have set before you life and death, choose life… [Deuteronomy 30: 19a]

“Damned If You Do; Damned If You Don’t!”

Lou Coleman-Yeboah

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN)—I tell you if you tell people truth they will get offended. If you don’t tell people truth they will get offended. Damned if you do; damned if you don’t. You just can’t please people.

Listen, Christians must not forbear speaking the truth, for fear of offending others.… Jesus proclaimed truth more than any other person on the planet. He offended people, divided crowds, made people uptight, and enraged the masses more than any other person on the planet. His words always produced a strong reaction, and he always caused division. The message He proclaimed always provoked people, irritated people, challenged people, and offended people.

Know that proclaiming truth will always alienate people, always upset people, and always offend people. How can this not be the response? When we preach the gospel that Jesus and the disciples preached, we should expect to get the same reaction that Jesus and the disciples got. Jesus was crucified for his efforts, and the disciples were persecuted, jailed and killed. So how can we expect to get any less of a reception if we faithfully and fully proclaim the biblical gospel fearlessly and boldly as Jesus and his early followers did?

As He said to me, “It is not your job to make the message acceptable; it’s your job to make the truth available.” I’m here to tell you the truth, without stutter, stammer, apology, or equivocation no matter how uncomfortable that may be. God message was clear, “PREACH THE WORD! “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up they voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.”[Isaiah 58:1]… reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine [2 Timothy 4:2].

Yeah some would say “if you preach like that, you might offend somebody.  It’s not “might”—you will offend somebody. You will upset somebody. They’ll call you harsh, they’ll call you narrow minded, arrogant, they’ll call you mean-spirited, and they’ll call you intolerant [John 15:21].  But Scripture is clear about how we are to respond when the very foundations of the Christian faith are under attack: our duty is to contend, not compromise.

You know on one occasion, after Jesus taught about how the Pharisees had abused God’s Word, His apostles came to him and said, “Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” [Matthew 15:11]. It is almost as if the apostles thought like many people today. They seemed to be indicating that because Jesus had offended the Pharisees, then He should stop teaching those ideas or change His message. Jesus, however, thought nothing of the sort. He knew that His message offended the Pharisees because of the hardness of their hearts, not because of the way the message was delivered. Jesus understood that the hearts of the Pharisees needed changing, not His message or even the way He delivered it. He responded to His apostles by saying, “Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind” [Matthew 15:14]. Their offense was misplaced. They were blind to the truth. They should not have been offended at Jesus’ message. Jesus’ message was the truth that God had sent to set them free [John 8:32].

Man is a sinner and the more he is reminded of that disposition, the better are his chances of repenting and receiving Salvation. That is my goal in preaching and teaching the Word of God. I do not think about ‘Preaching Hard’ or ‘Preaching Soft’.  God gives me a message based on His Biblical truth and I deliver it to the listener the way He has blessed me to deliver it.

Unfaltering convictions: truth, the mission, and the calling given by God that is not altered by time, people, opinions, or circumstances.

“As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak” [1 King 22: 14].

“Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all of you, for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.” [Acts 20:26-27]

“Do Yourself a Favor and Emancipate Yourself From the Devil – Why Want You!”

Lou Coleman-Yeboah

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN)— Don’t you see what the enemy is doing in your life?  He has you so bound up that you think that the way it is, is the way it will always be. The devil is a liar! Do yourself a favor and emancipate yourself from the devil. Understand that his mission is to kill, steal and destroy. He doesn’t care nothing about you! He wants to keep you bound, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually because He knows that if you ever realize the potential God has placed in you, and if you ever wake up from your slumber, you will turn this world upside down and he does not want that. But I say to Hell with the devil! Free yourself from the restraint, control, and power of him knowing that he is already a defeated foe. His legal authority was neutralized by the finished work of Christ on the cross [Colossians 2:15]. Take your stand and tell the devil to Hell with you!

You see, as a believer you need not fear Satan but realize and exercise the authority which God has given you over him. You have the right to use the authority of the name of Jesus to repel and drive Satan out of your territory and to break his grip over spiritual strongholds [2 Corinthians 10:4]. Just as Jesus and the early apostles did, command Satan to leave [Mark 16:17]. Have an Angela Bassett Moment: [Waiting to Exhale] and go certifiably nuts … “Get your shat, get your shat, and get out! Screw me for not leaving your behind sooner!” That’s right! Let him know that he has been given a pink slip and his termination date is on the calendar when he will once-and-for-all be cast down to the most intense of judgments [Revelation 20:10].

You see, Christ made a promise in the first sermon he ever preached that fulfilled the sacred revelation given to the Prophet Isaiah that He has come to open the prison door, release the captives and proclaim freedom in every corner of our lives. Christians should not be in bondage or captive to anything as Christ became the great rescuer of all those who are bound by the chains of captivity. Jesus comes to set you free today. And if you really want to be free, the devil that has had you locked up and shackled will have to lose you today by the power of Jesus Christ.

Decide today to deal the death blow to an enemy that has been plaguing your life, breathing down your neck, making your life miserable. Decide today to put something that has been over your head, under your feet. You and I never have to fall prey to the devil! If we can shut every door, close every window, and seal every place in our lives through which the enemy would try to access us, we can prevent him from getting into the middle of our affairs.

I tell you, don’t give place to the devil [Ephesians 4:27]. Know that you have been given authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome ALL the power of the enemy… [Luke 10:19]. “Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” [Galatians 5:1]. Trust in the truth of God’s Word. It is finished!

“You Will Never Be Able to Say – You Didn’t Know!”

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK (ENN)—That’s right! Your rejection of the gospel will be inexcusable. You have heard the gospel. Your unbelief is not out of ignorance, but out of rebellion against God and against His Word. I tell you, you are just like Israel, who knew the truth, but chose not to obey it. You are guilty before God just as Israel was and deserving of divine wrath. This is the essence of [Romans 1:18-32]. For God says, “All the daylong I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.” [Romans 10:21]. It’s not that God just displays His truth in the heavens, it comes home. It’s received. We get it, but we suppress it, that’s why the apostle Paul said that every mouth will be shut on that day because there is no defense against this [Romans 3:19]. You know it, yet you suppress it. You are created in the image of God, yet you are ungodly. You have the law of God written on your heart, yet you are unrighteous.

“Woe to you Chorazin and Bethsaida, for if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I tell you, it shall be more tolerable on the Day of Judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you [Matthew 11:21-22] because to disobey God’s commands is a spiritual and eternal death. You see, the more evidence you have of Christ’s reality, the more severe your judgment for not repenting. Your doom will be more miserable than the pagans. I tell you it would have been better for you to have never known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to you.” There is no excuse for unbelief. There is never an excuse for unbelief!

When you stand before the judgment seat in the last day, God will not judge you on the basis of what you did not know but on the basis of what has been revealed to you. Just imagine standing before God and trying to make excuses for your stubborn disobedience of His Word. What will be your excuse? Have you not heard? Indeed you have [Romans 1:19-23]! For the righteousness of God has been revealed to everyone through nature [Psalms 19]. You have no excuse. Your conscience knows the righteousness of God as you see God in nature. You have “heard” of God’s righteousness. How dreadful it will be to be without excuse! [2 Thess. 1:7-9].

The end of the matter: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man.

I tell you Paul certainly does not tell us what we want to hear, but rather what we need to hear. The Bible does not sugar coat the message, but tells it in a straightforward fashion. There is no fine print hidden at the end of the Bible. This truth is made known in large print at the beginning. I would remind you; this teaching is placed at the very beginning of the book of Romans. Paul does not hold back this news until the end because it is so unpalatable. Rather, he front-loads the subject of divine wrath at the very outset of the book of Romans. This mention of divine anger against sin is very direct, emphatic, and even abrupt. The apostle makes no apologies. There is no attempt to tone down this reality that threatens all who are without the gospel. This is the sheer, unvarnished truth from God coming through the pen of the apostle Paul.

But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the Lordthy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lordthy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it… [Deuteronomy 30:14-20]
