What It Do With the LUE: Ge-Ho of C.H.E.F. Music Studio

Chef MusicBy Lue Dowdy

Ge-ho of C.H.E.F. Music Studio is What It Do! Having the right producer and studio to record in can be vital to an artist’s project. Relationships and trust is an important factor as well. To create you must be in an environment that makes you feel comfortable. I’d like to take a moment to give thanks to one of the BEST producers/engineers in the game, Mr. Ge-ho of C.H.E.F. Music.

Working with Ge-ho over the years has been magical. He truly has a heart for artists. As soon as you step in the building, there he is ready to greet you with his chef hat and coat ready to work. His fire beats make artists want to serve it up in the booth. Never holding no punches, Ge-ho tells it like it is to inspiring artists in the game. The advice is worth paying for but he offers it for FREE.

With Ge-ho being talented in several areas, he will be departing C.H.E.F Music as the producer/engineer and will be taking on other duties in the company. Taking his place, the company has hired two replacements, Andrew Cook and Daniel Phillpot. I am looking forward to working with these two as well.

Don’t forget to book with the best and that’s Chef Music, C.H.E.F. standing for “Creativity is Heard Emotion is Felt.

Until next week keep it 100% always.

Chef Music, LLC is located at 14425 Seventh Street, Suite 5 in Victorville. Hours of Operation 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. You can email them at info@chefmusic.com or call (844) 484-2433.

What It Do With the LUE: Actor, Model, Rapper T Win

By Lue Dowdy

Actor, model, and rapper T Win of the Inland Empire is What It Do! Now an official member of SAG/AFTRA this young man is beating the odds. Born a twin and extremely handsome, T Win whose real name is Donte Lazonn Mack turned a bad situation and turned it into good.

Growing up in the Inland Empire, T Win tried his best to avoid trouble. Reaching high school, he took to sports and began playing football which landed him two championships. After graduating Kaiser High School in 2005, Twin found himself in trouble with the law and was locked up for a total of four years. While incarcerated he linked up with a gentleman by the name of Monte Lindsey a.k.a. Devious and started to dabble in music. At that moment, he knew music was something he wanted to do.

Once he was released from prison in 2012, T Win took off running and hasn’t stopped. He began to take up acting and auditioned for a role in the block buster movie, “Straight out of Compton.” Although he didn’t receive a call back, his determination and love for his children kept him pushing. In 2014, he ended up landing a small part in the movie, “Dope” and in the summer Blockbuster movie “Spiderman Homecoming.”

This triple threat is currently working on a clothing line that is schedule to launch this year. While doing all that he still finds time to take it to the MIC. His mixtape titled, “Street Politics” will be dropping real soon. Please make sure to follow this talent on all social media sites under T Win. Until next week L’z!

What It Do With the LUE: Winner of LUE Productions 2017 B.S.M. Competition-Clyde Gatewood

By Lue Dowdy

Winner of LUE Productions 2017 B.S.M. Competition, Clyde Gatewood, is What It Do! History was made! It was a packed house and something different. LUE Productions was able to pull off the 1st Big and Sexy Men Competition in the Inland Empire. The event was created to bring focus to the plus-size community and to show that sexiness and confidence comes in all shapes and sizes. Body shaming in my opinion is another form of bullying and it needs to STOP! No longer do you have to be a size 0 or 4 to be considered beautiful or handsome.

The event was held at the Women’s Club of San Bernardino on Sunday, August 27 where a total of four handsome men competed for a crown, trophy, and $500 cash. It wasn’t easy! Each had to endure rehearsals, multiple photoshoots, and more in preparation for the competition.

The categories consisted of four sections: Boss Look, Summer Nights, Free Style, and Questions. Contestants were also judged on their group opening performance and individual performances. We had the pleasure of having VIC Camp, former Miss California Lea Freeman, Celebrity Hair Stylist Brittney Shearz, and Gina Carter as our panel of judges. Alfred Parker, Michelangelo, Clyde Gatewood, and Maurice Cunningham did a fabulous job from beginning to end. The ladies loved them!

The evening was hosted by Petti Model Krystal Yvonne and very funny Comedian Tamiko Kirkland. The audience could not stop laughing with Tamiko’s hilarious jokes. We continued on with our mini BBW fashion show featuring DIVA’s Outlaw Fashions provided by Mrs. ‘Riisha Shelby. The pieces provided by DIVA’s Outlaw Fashions were smoking hot and gorgeous. R&B Singer Annyett Royale blessed our ear gates and DJ UpperKutt kept it live on the turn tables. Food was catered by PitStop BBQ and the moments captured on film by ILondon Fog and F.W. Photography. Special thanks to all our volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and supporters. We could not have done it without you all.

Make sure to follow LUE Productions on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, IG, and Snapchat for upcoming events. Donations are welcome and can be made via PayPal under Lue.info@yahoo.com. Remember to always love the skin you’re in! Until next week L’z!
