What It Do With the LUE: Tasha Rene

TashaBy Lue Dowdy

BBW Model Tasha Rene is WHAT IT DO! I love working in entertainment and meeting new talent. It gave me the opportunity to meet the beautiful Tasha Rene. I fell in love with her spirit, energy, and passion.

From San Bernardino, California this Diva has been modeling off and on since 2000. This beauty is making a name for herself in the Plus Size world of fashion. Tasha has rocked runways all over Southern California. She competed in Miss Plus Top Model and modeled for Baby Doll Couture and Belo Noir Diamond Couture by Tanya Marie. Ensuring that she stays relevant, this model auditions and competes all over.

Tapping into her acting skills, Tasha landed herself a gig on BET’s My Black is Beautiful and a modeling gig for Fashion Bug.

I’m currently working with Tash on the set of a new reality show called “Entertainment At A Glance” where she plays a main character. I’ve seen this Queen in action and yes she slays. Make sure you support Tasha Renee the BBW Model/Actress. Until next week L’z!

In the words of Tash Rene, “I’m me 100 percent of the time. What you see is what you get. I live life to the fullest. I want no regrets.”

What It Do With the LUE: Chase Enriquez

Chase Enriquez

Chase Enriquez

By Lue Dowdy

The Hip-Hop/Rocker, Chase Enriquez, is WHAT IT DO! I became a fan immediately the first time I saw this artist perform. Chase Enriquez is an artist whose song writing approach and live show blends the skillful lyricism of Hip-Hop’s golden age and the raw vocal energy of Rock n’ Roll’s yesteryear with an attack that differs from the styles of previous genre-crossing.

Born and raised in San Diego, Chase bounced between Chicago and Atlanta for some time before making Los Angeles his home. Influenced by artists such as Guns N’ Roses, Nas, Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) and Big Pun, his sound mashes up big anthemic hooks with skillful rhymes over assorted production styles. Chase has collaborated with several artists which include: Don Cannon, (Aphilliates/The Acadamy) Greg Street, the Grammy Nominated Track Slayerz, SnL (Young Money) and a host of other local and national acts.

Chase’s first single with major distribution, “Tell Me Why,” was released on December 4, 2013 via INgrooves|Fontana. Since then he has followed up with a slew of singles including “Another Night,” and “Light it Up,” and a few EP’s with the most recent being “Til the Flame Burns Out: Muse Edition” released on February 5,2016.

Upon releasing his latest EP, Chase enlisted the help of some local hired guns to build the live shows. Dubbing it the “Chase Enriquez Trio,” with the help of Eduardo Lizarraga and featuring assorted musicians including Jason Dickie and others; they play locally around the Los Angeles area. Notable Venues consist of the Viper Room, Loaded Hollywood, Silverlake Lounge and The Study-Hollywood.

Chase Enriquez music and videos have been featured on sites and music programing such as indierapblog.com, hellhoundmusic.com, indiebandguru.com, CMC Beat Lounge, H2oTv, Skilly Magazine, along with many others. Please make sure you follow this amazing talent. Until next week Lz!

A night of fashion, music, and bringing awareness to DIABETES is WHAT IT DO! What a turn out this past Sunday; the house was packed! The event was hosted by singer, rapper, and comedian, Lorie Moore. This crazy lady had me and the entire room in stiches. She most definitely kept the audience engaged with her classy ratchetness, as she calls it. The beautiful, Dr. Tracy Lynn spoke about her experiences as a diabetic and how important it is to get tested and the headliner of the night, Annette Royale performed a few sons off her “Hurt Wins” album where she captivated the audience with her amazing vocals.

The evening continued with live performances provided by Inland Empire Rap Artist Young Stress, R-n-B Singer Sophia Mojo, Female Emcee S. Hollywood, and Christian Rappers The Turn up Bros. Featured Designers consisted of Trisha Sherman specializing in custom made items, Mrs. J and Fancy Nancy specializing in jewelry, Angie Escobar designer from Riverside showcasing her fall collection, and Morgan of Fontana with Strictly Designs. All the models slayed the runway. I have to give love to my girls, models Krystal Yvonne, Ayanna Eubank and Brittnay Shearz for participating in a worthy cause.

The vibe was dope! I love when an event starts and ends on time. The venue was beautifully decorated in classic black and white with sounds provided by DJ B Right. You can tell that everyone enjoyed the show. A classy affair indeed! Major shout out to Tata Hollins, Jamal pmp Park, and the entire production team. Looking forward to the next one!

Until next week L’z!’

Funk! Soul! R&B and Angel Babys “Oldies 4Ever Concert” is WHAT IT DO! Do you miss that old-school, feel good type of music? That make ya’ wanna grab ya’ girl and sway with her on the dance floor type of music? I do and I’ m sure I have several others with me.

Well, it went down in Ontario last weekend! I had an opportunity to attend the “Oldies Forever” concert put on by the talented Angel Baby Rodriguez, Round 2 Entertainment, and a few other entities. The vibe was on point from the moment I stepped into the building.

The night consisted of vendors and live performances from a few legends in the game. I jumped to my feet soon as Sly Slick took the stage and performed “Thin Line Between Love and Hate.” The Delfonics came in singing “Didn’t I,” and the beautiful and talented Janice Marie Johnson, member of the group A Taste of Honey, gave a memorable performance as well as Garland Green a.k.a “Jealous Kind” of Fella and Jimmy Sterling.

The energy level was off the roof. I was absolutely amazed by what I saw, so poised and professional! The event was packed with folks enjoying themselves. I can tell memory lane was in full effect. D'zyl

By Lue Dowdy

Rap Artist, D’ZYL If you missed it, you missed out! D’zyl did his thang at Katz Alley Music Store located in Riverside this past Friday. As a matter of fact, the entire line up did their thang. Major shout out to Rap Artists.

The release party was an all age event that included an open mic portion. Individuals that were not on the lineup had an opportunity to showcase their talent and a chance to win $50.00 in cash. We laughed out loud with the show host.

D’zyl’s album ‘The Delusions of a Commoner’ dropped March 31. The streets are buzzing about this one. On the project you can hear hits like, ‘Revenge Of The Nerds’ ft Thesis (Prod. by Teflon), ‘Delusions Of A Commoner’, ‘Lovin’ Myself’ (Prod. by Prime Intellects), ‘Man, I’d Tear It Up ft. Dirty Birdy’ (Prod. by Fat Finger, along with several more.

When finally completing a project that you’ve worked so hard on and to see it manifest is a beautiful thing. I’m happy for D’zyl. In my opinion, he has the formula to keep going in the rap game. Make sure to check out his music on all social media sites under D’zyl. Until next week L’z!

What It Do With the LUE: EverythangNycce Entertainment

NycceBy Lue Dowdy

EveryThangNycce Entertainment is WHAT IT DO! I’ve encountered so many talented individuals located right here in the Inland Empire over the years. Recently I came in contact with Nycce Blingsly, an amazing guy that possesses several talents.

Welcome to the world of Nycce where no dream is too big! EveryThangNycce was created by Nycce Blingsly. The company was started to help promote Nycce’s comedy skits. One day Nycce came up with the brilliant idea of filming local artists and events and things took off from there. Now you can catch him filming local concerts, award shows, comedy events, music videos, and much more.

Nycce, whose real name is Kyru Gatlin, is the comedic brains and face of the EveryThangNycce Entertainment. He changed his name to Nycce because he felt it described him more accurately. I totally agree! His personality is a breath of fresh air. He has acted in over one hundred of his own comedy videos, which can be seen on Facebook and YouTube. In the last few months, he’s taken his comedy to SNAPCHAT, where you can see him playing pranks on friends and enjoying life.

So the next time you need an event recorded or just need a laugh, look for EveryThangNycce! In his words, ”Everythang I do Is NYCCE!” Until next week I.E. PEACE & LOVE! L’zzz!

What It Do With the LUE: Black Magic

By Lue Dowdy

BLACK MAGIC – IS WHAT IT DO! Renowned actress and icon Vivica A. Fox is catching the attention of all, especially the ladies with her new reality show titled ‘Vivica’s Black Magic’ along with her all Male Review TOUR. Sorry fellas but this one’s for my ladies!

Last week I attended Vivica’s Fox’s ‘Black Magic’ Male Review show live in the city of Riverside. The event was held at Sevilla’s Night Club and it was off the hook. I mean women of all ethnicities and from all over came to see what the chocolate fuss was all about. I was able to sit in V.I.P. with my girls directly on stage. Now ladies, you know I acted a fool.

When the men first came out in their all white sailor suits, the crowd went absolutely nuts. Stripping down to their shiny undies, you were able to see exactly how blessed each dancer was. Let’s just say I was jealous of every lady that had a man that night. It’s situations like that, which make me regret being single. SIKE!

Keeping the women fired up, actor Darrin Dewitt Henson had his hands full. Darrin is best known for his role in the hit movie ‘Soul Food’ and ‘Stomp the Yard’. He did a wonderful job hosting. The review featured White Chocolate and Heat, two of the most popular dancers on the show. Dollar bills saturated the stage and the floor.

Vivica’s roll in the movie “Chocolate City” landed the actress the gig for ‘Black Magic’. The main goal of the show is to gain permeant residency in Las Vegas. Recent controversy stirred up on the show when her partner bailed after Vivica stated she wanted no gays on the show; however, it looks like they made up and all is well in the world of ‘BLACK MAGIC’. Until next week L’z!
