WHAT IT DO WITH LUE: Tamiko Kirkland

Comedian Tamiko Kirkland

Comedian Tamiko Kirkland

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood and this is What It Do! This week I want to shout-out my girl and the very, very funny comedian Tamiko Kirkland, straight out of COMPTON.

This talented young lady is the TRUTH. She is a loving wife and mother who is slaying folks all over the Inland Empire and beyond with the funnies. How they say keeping it real, that’s exactly what she does.

She is not afraid to talk about her personal relationships in her sets. Tamiko has a unique way of capturing the audience through her sassiness mixed with a little gangsta’, which keeps the crowd laughing. I have seen folks fall out of their chairs with laughter after she has told a joke. She can go there if need be too. Her joke about the SMART CAR is one of my favorites.

You can catch her performance this month at our LUE Productions “TOP COOK COMPETTION/COMEDY FUNDRAISER” as a judge on Friday, October 24 in San Bernardino at 114 S. Arrowhead Avenue. Tickets are on sale now for 8 bucks. Don’t miss out! You can find her performing in Barstow and Victorville this month as well.

I need everyone to pay attention to the name “TAMIKO KIRKLAND”! A COMEDY QUEEN ON THE RISE! I say it all the time that comedy is good for the soul. Laughter is something that is needed in everyone’s life. It’s a great stress reliever. Until next week! Please follow LUE Productions on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter under LUE Productions. 1 LUV!

LUE PRODUCTIONS: ARTIST SPOTLIGHT, AARON SWIFT

Aaron Swift

Aaron Swift

So, who will it be this week folks! Ya’ girl is back and Aaron Swift is What It Do! The first time I heard him spit, I was like, okay then. His style and flavor is definitely UNFORGETTABLE and UNTOUCHABLE.

Aaron Block, known as Swift, was born in 1982 at Gardena memorial. This talented artist grew up listening to artists such as Ice cubeDigital Underground, and other well-known legends in the industry. Swift developed the talent for writing poetry before ever knowing how to write music. After the passing of his beautiful mother Jean Shaneatha Hall in 1991, Swift found a new way to express himself which was putting his poetry into bars and making Hip-Hop music.

Since then he has developed in every aspect and is known for his witty metaphors and catchy hooks.  In 1999, Swift was fully confident in his delivery and decided he was going to let the world know what he is capable of, but some were still skeptical as to how versatile he was, but that didn’t stop him from pursuing dreams.  Skipping a couple rough patches and shady deals with record labels and management, Swift has come into his own, working with artists which include Tony TouchWestside BuggSylk-E-FyneDirty BirdyWay2Much, and many others. Swift is currently running a full studio production company called Swifts Production and is currently the CEO of an upcoming filming company called OnMyMama.tv. Please check out his music on face book and YouTube. Till next time, Peace & Blessings!

LUE PRODUCTIONS: WHAT IT DO WITH THE LUE, Comedy Show

LUE PRODUCTIONS FLYER STORY

Hey, Hey, Hey in my Dwayne Nelson voice! It’s me again, here to tell ya’ What It Do!Laughter is what it do! This Saturday, August 30 at the Sports Bar and Grill (25597 Main Street) in Barstow. I need you to come out and laugh out loud with upcoming Comedian Mac Rome and a host other hilarious comedians from all over. Barstow is doing it BIG yawl!

Founder and owner of the original “Wing It” restaurant in San Bernardino and owner of “Artistically Clean Cleaning Services”, Bennie Fredrick, along with Comedian Mac Rome have teamed up to bring laughter to the community. Unlike anger or sadness, comedy can be an escape from reality even if it’s for a short moment. In my opinion, laughter soothes the SOUL. It allows you to release and let go of the day to day hustle and bustle.

I’m so thankful for comedians such as Red Fox, Richard Prior, Rodney Dangerfield, George Lopez, Bill Cosby, Moms Mabley, Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldburg, and George Burns. That’s only a drop in the comedy bucket of GREATS. So with that being said, I hope you can make it to Barstow this Saturday. Remember a frown upside down turns into a smile. Have a blessed and safe holiday.

MARINA DEL REY, CA – What Up IE! It’s ya’ girl  LUE and I’m happy to be back in the thick of things. So many wonderful things have been going on with our production company, LUE Productions. Our purpose is to highlight the talent within the Inland Empire and surrounding cities that may get over looked. We pride ourselves in providing UNIQUE platforms for all artists while providing entertaining shows for the community.

On Thursday, August 7, we held our first “ALL WHITE MASQURADE HIP-HOP & R&B EVENT” in Marian Del Rey. With GOD’s help and other supportive entities, our company was able to pull off its biggest event ever, in the beautiful city of Marina Del Rey. We wanted to do something over the top

and extreme! We wanted artists who may have never experienced performing outside their city, or on an event such as this one, to see what it feels like and to know it can be done. We wanted them to feel like the stars they are. So we rented a multi-million dollar yacht for our talented LUE P. artists and other talented artists to perform on.

The event was amazing! The networking was righteous too. We had live performances from our amazing artists Paul Douglas, Speaker Junkiez, and Mack Pepperboy. Other artists included Yung Miss, Tae The Gifted, Killa, Mrs. Dynasty Dino, Sp’s, Hazel, and many more.

The night was beautiful and elegant like the yacht. Attendees were dressed in their all white with their masks ready to get it in. People had four levels to choose from and tasty entrees to enjoy. We sailed off into the moonlight on the calm waters and turned up!

Our DJ’s for the night were DJ Muda and DJ Mpress along with host Radio Personality 5 Cent. They each kept the crowd going and engaged. The celebrities were in the building, or should I say on the Yacht, included R&B singer Eric Bellinger, The Real Freeway Ricky Ross, celebrity producer Bugsy On Da Beat, rapper Av LMKR, and rapper White Dogg.

Media Director/Photographer; Aaron Swift, mymoma.tv; and Michael Napper, Mike TV.

Our message was simple! You can accomplish whatever you want to accomplish with works. Stop hindering yourself with doubts. This will definitely be an annual event. We hope to see you next year on the waters of the marina. Oh, did I mention, the yacht is the same yacht, Snoop Dogg got married on. Please follow LUE PRODUCTIONS on Twitter and Facebook for more events. Swoosh and one luv!

Are you looking for a Turn UP group?  Then look no further. Allow me to introduce “Speaker Junkiez”, one of the BEST Hip-Hop groups in the Inland Empire. From their colorful and unique style, to their catchy lyrics, original beats, and dance moves, they’re always GUARANTEED to get the crowd up on their feet!

With the God given talent of vocals and lyrics they’ve been blessed with, Barbra Martin, also known as Dada Doe, and Nash Collins the III, also known as Big Chew, they became one forming the group known as, “Speaker Junkiez ”. Under management by LUE Productions, the group has been performing all over Southern California.

Both Dada Doe and Big Chew were born in San Bernardino California, where they found their love of music at a young age. Growing up in the streets of San Bernardino with little promise for the future both turned to the ARTS as a way to express their inner self. Holding each other down through good and bad times while making the best out of the worst situation, these two were still able to produce quality music.

The group just released their first video ever for their song “Let’s Party”. Come out and watch them perform it live for LUE Productions/Family First Entertainment Annual Urban Hip-Hop and R&B Fashion Show this Sunday located at 114 S. Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino (92408) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can view it on YouTube as well. LUE PRODUCTIONS ARTIST REVIEW: C-NOVA

R&B Assassin C-NOVAWHAT IT DO I.E.! It’s ya’ girl back at it again with an introduction of another hot and upcoming artist; family you have to check out R&B Assassin, better known as C-Nova. When I say this young dude got vocals that are out of this world, I truly mean it. A few years back when I started working in the community putting on shows for local artists, I was introduced to C-Nova by a friend. Back then he couldn’t have been any more than 19. When he came to audition for our show and began to sing with no music, I almost fell out of my seat. The entire room was floored! I been a fan ever since.

Singing since the tender age of six and now 24, this R&B Assassin is buzzing all over Southern California.  C-Nova, whose real name is Gregory Casanova Clark, is gaining fans and breaking hearts.  He was born in Los Angeles, but raised in the Inland Empire. Using his talent for the Lord in the church choir got him recognized fast by many, but it wasn’t until the death of his sister, Lydia Funez James in December 2006 that gave him the ambition to pursue his dream and stay away from gang violence.

Talented in so many ways, not only is he a singer but he’s’ a heck of a producer and song writer. C-Nova has performed at multiple concerts with well-known artists such as, Joe Moses, AV, Sean KingstonTeeflii, and many more. Not being selfish with his gifts, this artist has also worked with several talented independent artists which include, CD, Nova of Heartbreak, Rialto Staxx of Jac Pac Entertainment, Larry Spades, Jayo, Westside Bugg, and several others.

Right now the streets are bumpin’ his new CD entitled “Lights On, Light Off”.  If you haven’t heard the CD please get your copy. C-Nova is the TRUTH! Follow him on all the social network sites.  He is also LUE Productions/Family First Entertainment 2014 Urban Fashion Show Featured R&B artist. Please check him out Sunday, May 18 at 114 S. Arrowhead Avenue San Bernardino (92408) from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. This will be a multicultural event highlighting urban fashions, hip-hop, and r&b. For more information on the fashion show contact LUE Productions at 909.567.1000 or look us up on Facebook. Stay Blessed!

The Give Back Event

The Give Back LUEIt’s ya’ girl Ms. LUE and this week this is “What It Do”! I would like to highlight an important event happening in our city this Saturday, April 12. Blaim Society Nation presents: “The Give Back”.  A local community event giving back to the city of San Bernardino, hosted by Slappers on Deck, Heartbreak, and Roc Star BBZ.

In light of all the recent killings, community members young and old are fed up! Several entities have come together to take a stand against VIOLENCE through the sound of music. The event will take place this Saturday, April 12 at Wildwood Park on the corner of 40th street and Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Event coordinator, professional boxer and Mixed Martial Arts Fighter, Trevaugn Moore stated that, “A great community event featuring a positive movement for the city of San Bernardino including all ages from the past, present, and future is needed. Too much negativity has been spread throughout our city long enough. It’s now time for something positive to come about. This is a start to stop the violence, killings, and corruption in our city.”

The day will consist of performances from local artists and artists from surrounding cities. Families will be able to participate in the free activities, food, and fun. There will be special appearances by professional UFC Fighters, World Class Boxing coaches, and Boxers. Please jump in the fight and help promote and bring PEACE to the City of San Bernardino. Until next time take care and let someone know how much you care. The world needs more LOVE!
