No Corners Cut, No Pacifying, No Round-About Way

“Vengeance is Mine, I Will Repay, Says the Lord!”

By Lou Yeboah

With our television screens filled with pictures of rioting, looting, killing and violence in various American cities — just as it wounded the spirit of Habakkuk who couldn’t take it any longer and threw up his hands in desperation, to let heaven know exactly how he was feeling. Heart broken, looking for an answer from God, so are many people today. Crying from their heart about the rampant injustice and brutally inflicted pain that characterizes so much of the world.

“Oh Lord, God of vengeance, shine forth! Rise up Oh judge of the earth; repay to the proud what they deserve! Oh Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult? They pour out their arrogant words; all the evildoers boast. They crush your people, Oh Lord, and afflict your heritage. They kill the widow and the sojourner, and murder the fatherless; and they say, “The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive.” [Psalm 94: 1-7].

We see man’s hatred and violence for his fellow man again and again as in Scripture. Think of Pharaoh who drowned the Hebrew boys in the River Nile. Think of Haman who plotted to kill all the Jews in the kingdom of Persia. Think of King Herod who killed the baby boys of Bethlehem. Think of David – a man after God’s own heart. Yet, what did he do? He killed one of his own soldiers – a loyal man – to cover up the sin of adultery. What did the Pharisees at the time of Jesus do? They hated Jesus and quickly sought His destruction. In the book of Acts we see that same hatred was transferred to the apostles and the church. Oh Lord, how long how long before you avenge your people? How long Oh, Lord?

Hard broken, looking for an answer as Habakkuk, who spirit was wounded, and who finally couldn’t take it any longer. I too threw up my hands to heaven looking for an answer from God.

As he said to Habakkuk, he said to me:  You may not understand it, Lou. You may not see the full picture. You’ll have to trust Me on this one. As you shake your hands in bewilderment at the scope of injustice and atrocity that you witness far too regularly. Have faith that I am still in control. That My sovereignty remains intact. That the final word still belongs to Me. Evil and injustice will NOT have the final word over their lives!

For “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings. I WILL REPAY, says the Lord! I’m not going to just give them what they deserve, but I’m going to make the enemy pay. It may not happen overnight, but I will settle the case. Trust Me! I am a God of justice. I’ve seen it, now I’m going to do something about it. [Hebrew 10:30]. I’m going to send My angels, and they will gather out of My kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:41-49].

Never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God. These are the words from the book of Deuteronomy that Paul references in Romans 12.

“See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her; she will conceal her slain no longer.” [Isaiah 26:21].

The wrath of God will be deserved — totally just and right.

Exhale with me!

“God’s EAS – This is Not a Test – Action is Required!”

By Lou Yeboah

At 2:45 p.m. on Friday, local time, in the year of 2011, life was normal in Japan.

People were working. Students were in class. Shoppers were in grocery stores. Trains were running and passengers were loading airplanes. Banks were open, government officials were in meetings, and lovers were thinking of dinner dates later that night. Power plants were running smoothly, roads were in the right place, and dock workers were preparing goods to be loaded on cargo ships.

At 2:46, without warning, the earth began to shake.

When it comes to earthquakes and tsunamis, Japan is the most prepared country in the world. Immediately, power was cut off to all power plants. Warning signals blared across the land. Students dove under desks, just as they’d been trained to do. Buildings swayed, but did not fall, just as they’d been built to do. Government, military and law enforcement officials went into emergency mode, just as they’d all drilled to do.

But the earth kept shaking.

Eighty miles out, in the deep blue seascape of the Pacific Ocean, six miles above the massive movements of the earth’s plates, salt water was being churned and tossed about with a force far stronger than any force ever created by man. The first waves slammed into the shoreline two hours later, 23 feet above the beaches that had been so calm just an hour earlier. Cars, ships, houses and chucks of roadway were swept along with the water, destroying everything in the path of the surge.

The aftershocks came, one after another, until more than 50 had been recorded.

By the time the first waves receded into the sea, preparing for yet another blast of water and houses and cars and explosions, hundreds of bodies were already among the litter. At sea, a ship loaded with 100 people was swept away. Tankers were flipped over in their harbors. A passenger train is missing. The whole thing. Missing. The waterfront of Sendai burns out of control, and firefighters can’t reach the area. All roads are broken, or missing.

Inland, 30 miles from the coast, and 50 miles from the worst of the damage, a dam in one town breaks, immediately sending a torrent of water through residential neighborhoods. By the time the damage is surveyed, 1,800 homes had been destroyed in an area that should have felt safe from the danger of a tsunami. Landslides triggered by the earthquake quickly buried other communities, while people were still inside the buildings. As far south as Tokyo, ambulances lined up outside a school where a roof had collapsed on an unknown number of students, teachers, and parents who had gathered for graduation ceremonies. With the collapse of infrastructure, six million homes lost power, and millions of people were looking for food and fresh water within the day. Many of them resorted to walking on the broken highways, hoping to find a way to survive on higher ground.

And on the horizon loomed the worst news of all. There were critical, potentially devastating, problems developing at a nuclear power plant.

Warnings were issued for countries all around the Pacific rim, and Hawaii braced for the worst. The tsunami raced across the surface of the ocean at more than 200 miles per hour, and visions of more destruction terrify coastal communities from Indonesia to New Zealand to the Americas.

Two hours and 14 minutes after the first tremor, officials announce that the death toll was expected to top 1,000. Even as they made the announcement, a magnitude 6.6 earthquake shook central Japan, and skyscrapers in Tokyo swayed as if they were drunk. When it was all over with, the death toll 15, 897.

Such is the nature of an unexpected storm.

This message is to once again warn you that Jesus is coming unexpectedly. As Jesus told the disciples, get into the boat that would take you all across the lake. The disciples survived their storm at sea only because Jesus was in the boat. The key to surviving life’s storms – is having a personal relationship with Jesus. You are to “take heed.” If you ignore God’s provision for your soul’s salvation how will you escape the consequences of such neglect? How will you escape His wrath? (John 3:36); His condemnation? [John 3:18]; His word of banishment? [Matthew 26:41].

God is so good, so merciful and so compassionate.  The Scripture says: “it is not the will of God that we should perish.” We are at that point of time where Judah was before the fall of the empire. But nobody is listening like in the times of King Manasseh. Nobody is listening to the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “Repent, and believe the gospel because your redemption is drawing near.  I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. [Luke 5:32].  “As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die?” (Ezekiel 33:11) Jesus died for you. Why will you die?

God gives only a certain time to repent, and after that point, it’s too late. Case in point, Jezebel. God said, “I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling…” [Revelation 2:21-23]… The Bible is full of examples of people given time to repent but they refused: [Genesis 4; Jeremiah 5:3, Amos 4:6, Zephaniah 3:2, and Zechariah 7:1] to name just a few. [2Peter 3:9] tells us, “The Lord is patient towards us. He is not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” That’s God’s heart. He wants us to repent. That why He gives us time to repent. That’s why He pleads with us to repent. That’s why He sends people; ministers, preachers, friends, family members who beg us to repent. Jezebel was not ignorant of her sin. She knew what she was doing, and she refused to repent.  Therefore it became too late for her to repent – not because God wouldn’t pardon her, but because she had hardened her heart. Jezebel had been confronted, she’s resisted, and she refused to repent. Don’t be a Jezebel. The door of repentance is still open. There’s still hope, but not forever.… [Hebrews 12:17]… God’s EMS- This is not a test- Action is required. Repent!

“The Weeping Prophet” Cried When No One Would Heed God’s Warnings…”

By Lou Yeboah

It was as if Jeremiah was the lone person aboard the Titanic who knew that the ship was on a collision course with an iceberg. It was his task to convince the crew and the passengers that they were doomed if they didn’t change course. That there was still time—if they would just listen. But the captain and the people plugged their ears and didn’t course correct. They just kept dancing and dining to their demise. “The Weeping Prophet” cried when no one would heed God’s Warnings.

Jeremiah spent forty years telling the people what would happen. And they didn’t listen. They were warned, over and over and over, but they did not repent. Then God told Jeremiah that He had had enough. “I am tired of holding back…declared the Lord. Because they have rejected me, I will bring bereavement and destruction on my people, for they have not changed their ways. I will make their widows more numerous than the sand of the sea … I will put the survivors to the sword before their enemies.” “I will send four kinds of destroyers against them,” declares the Lord, “the sword to kill and the dogs to drag away and the birds and the wild animals to devour and destroy…[Jeremiah 15:2-3, 5-9].

I tell you, the harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. [Jeremiah 8:20]. Listen, God’s judgment is coming. Right now, mercy is available, but one day God will draw a line in the sand and there will be no more opportunity. Don’t ignore the warning! Warning comes before destruction. Heed the Warning! Repent! Knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. [Romans 13:11]

Case in point.: The major prophetic events coming up on God’s calendar are these:

  • The rapture of the church [1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-58].
  • The seven year tribulation period [Daniel 9:27; 12:1-12].
  • The rebuilding of the Temple [there is no specific prophecy about rebuilding the Temple, but several prophecies happen within and around the Temple, so we know it must be rebuilt].
  • The Antichrist will establish a one world economic system with some form of identification placed inside everyone’s right hand or forehead [Revelation 13:16-18].
  • The return of Jesus Christ at the battle of Armageddon [Revelation 19:11-21; Zechariah 14:4].
  • The Millenium – Christ sitting on the throne in Jerusalem for one thousand years [Revelation 20:1-10].
  • Following The Millenium is the final judgment of the unsaved and the ushering in of eternity for the redeemed [Revelation 20:11-22:21].

All of these are Biblical prophecies to take place during the Tribulation, and we are watching them taking shape around us now. These events are coming just as sure as Jeremiah knew Babylon was on her way.

In Luke’s account, Jesus tells us that “when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near” [Luke 21:31]. Then He warns about not letting “that Day come on you unexpectedly” [Luke 21:34]. Jesus concludes by saying, “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” [Luke 21:36].

“But if they will not listen, then I will uproot that nation, uproot and destroy it,” declares the Lord. [Jeremiah 12:17]

“To whom shall I speak and give warning that they may hear? Behold, their ears are closed and they cannot listen. Behold, the word of the Lord has become a reproach to them; They have no delight in it.”

[Jeremiah 6:10]

“The Weeping Prophet” Cried, When No One Would Heed God Warnings!

“The Day of Grace is Coming to its End Repent and Live, Says the Lord This is the Final Call!”

By Lou Yeboah

“Seventy sevens are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place,”  before judgment come to the earth like never before. [Daniel 9:24-27]. Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. “For I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. Every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.” [Genesis 6:13; 17]. But, “for my own name’s sake, I delay my wrath; for the sake of my praise, I hold it back from you, so as not to destroy you completely. [Isaiah 48:9]. Repent and return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; rend your hearts and not your clothing, for this is the Final Call. [Joel 2:12-13].

“This is what the Sovereign Lord showed me: Vision of Locusts- He was preparing a swarm of locusts…, I cried out, Sovereign Lord, forgive, How can [insert your name] stand? [He\she] is so small.” So, the Lord relented. This will not happen,” the Lord said.

“Then the Sovereign Lord showed me:  Vision of Fire- The Sovereign Lord was calling for judgment by fire; it dried up the great deep and devoured the land. Then I cried out, “Sovereign Lord, I beg you stop! How can [insert your name] stand? [He/she] is so small.” So the Lord relented. “This will not happen either,” the Sovereign Lord said.

“Then, He showed me:  Vision of the Plumb Line- The Lord was standing by a wall that had been built true to plumb, with a plumb-line in His hand. And the Lord asked me, “What do you see…? “A plumb-line,” I replied. Then the Lord said, “Look, I am setting a plumb-line among my people…; I will spare them no longer…  [Amos 7: 1-9].

The passage message. God bears long, but he will not bear always with a provoking people. If God’s word and his warnings are not heeded, then God will judge and punish without any reprieve.

You see, ever since the Great Flood in [Genesis 7], God has given mankind invitation after invitation to escape the Final Judgment. First it was through the Old Testament prophets—but the world didn’t listen. Next it was through the words of Jesus Christ—but the world still didn’t listen. Finally, it was through the Apostle John’s vision in Revelation.

The question is: Are you listening? God’s grace is for a limited time, not forever. God always gives Grace for a period as he did in the days of Noah. In that day he gave a period of 120 years for people to repent their ways.  After that Grace period ended, God visited his judgment upon the people of the earth through the flood during which everything perished except Noah and his family of eight persons.  Where was God’s Grace when the floods came and all the people died? God’s grace had ended.  “And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.” [Genesis 6:3].

In Judah, God sent Jeremiah to preach for about 30 years to the people of Israel to repent until the Babylonian captivity.  When Nebuchadnezzar invaded Jerusalem in 598 BC hundreds of thousands of people of God’s chosen nation were destroyed and the rest that were not killed was taken faraway into captivity in Babylon.  Where was the Grace of God during the time? It had expired.

In 70 AD almost 30 years after the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, the Jewish nation still refused to accept that Jesus was truly the Son of God after the preaching of His disciples.  In 70 AD Rome attacked Jerusalem and destroyed the City and Temple the second time and killed over 1 million of God’s chosen people. Where was the Grace of God at the time?? It had expired.

If God didn’t spare His own people from His wrath due to their unbelief, unrepentant heart and turning back to Him, what will happen to us when the Grace period expires? Jesus Christ himself declared, there is coming a time of trouble such as there has never been since there was a nation on earth according to Matthew 24.

God’s grace will soon expire. [Revelation 14].  Let us learn a lesson from the fig tree.

“…And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hearth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” [Revelation 22:13-17].

“Entrapped by Your Own Sin!”

By Lou Yeboah

Ain’t that ‘bout a pickle. You have sown the seeds of your own destruction. I tell you, you ought to mimic Paul approach to sin: “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful.” You see, the disillusionment of sin always promise far more than it delivers. Sin is a yoke of bondage, an enslavement that holds you, hostage. An entanglement that wraps itself around your very soul and hijacks your identity. Sin kills and destroys everything it touches. This is the purpose behind everything Satan does. Jesus said, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy.” You can’t dabble in sin without being swept away.  Sin will cause you to hook, line, and sinker. Sin is divisive, deceptive, destructive and deadly. Sin thrill, then it kills. Sin fascinates, then it assassinates. Sin always destroys lives, both for time and eternity. Scripture constantly reminds us of this truth. Sin ain’t no joke!

Listen, Satan is the enemy of our soul,  he doesn’t give a cramp about us. He is not our friend. Satan is a con artist and he will con you straight to Hell. He has been seducing for years and the results have always been the same. He seduced Adam and Eve and the result was the fall of mankind.  He seduced King David and the result was the death of his son and the division of his kingdom. He seduced Judas Iscariot and the result was the betrayal of Jesus and Judas committing suicide. He seduced Ananias and Sapphira and the result was that they dropped dead. He tried to seduce Jesus and the result was the destruction of the Devil himself. Jesus forever proved that Satan could be defeated and that man did not have to bow down to his seduction. You can be victorious against the seduction of Satan.

You see, I also once were foolish myself, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending my life in malice and envy. As an unbeliever, I was the pawn of Satan, under his dominion, carrying out his dictates. I was unaware of this because he controlled me through the influence of the world and the flesh.  But now that I have been born again, in Christ I have been raised from my dead state spiritually to newness of life. And because of this, I am to renounce to the world and its dominion over us. We are to “put off” fleshly things and “put on” the things of the Spirit. Even, though the power of sin seems so strong at times, the tug, the pull, the pressure, the battle, the struggle. Even though it can get to the point where it seems and feels overwhelming. You must put forth effort to do what is right.  Do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. Sin shall not be your master….” Romans 6:12-14.

Jesus said that He has come to set the captives free. Sin doesn’t have the power to hold you prisoner. God has broken the chains. It’s what Jesus had in mind when he cried those last words on the cross: “It is Finished!” God’s will is for you to overcome.  You can be free from bondage by admitting your sin to God and giving Him control of your life through Jesus Christ. Only He can untangle you from the tangled web of sin that you have weaved. In Christ, you are no longer a slave to sin. Nor are you a servant to its power or choke-hold. Your body belongs to Christ. You are His treasure, He has paid for you with His Blood. He has set You free. Out of bondage comes freedom. Out of surrender comes victory. Submit yourself until the Lord and be free!

Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains… Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind, for He breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron. — Psalm 107:10, Psalm 107:13-16

“I Tell You… If You Go to HELL You Want Have Nobody to Blame but Yourself!”

By Lou Yeboah

You see, you’ve been warned, you’ve been talked to, the Holy Spirit has been tugging at your heart, and yet in still, you continue to indulge in sin. What sorrow awaits you. [Luke 11:44; Romans 2:5]. Listen, God has made it very clear that the, “Consequence of Sin is Death,” but “The Gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus.” [Romans 6:23]. The only reason you are not in Hell today is because of God’s grace and mercy. But be not deceived, God’s warning is clear. You play with fire, you will get burnt. Make no mistake about it! [Galatians 6:7].  Jesus made it crystal clear to both saint and sinner alike, that any person who chooses even one sin to be more important to them than Him, will be doomed to the place of Hell. I tell you, to know God and to choose to think, act, or behave outside of the Word, Will, and Way of God is very dangerous.

If God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to Hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment [2 Peter 2:4] what do you think He will do to you if you keep on sinning?  I tell you, if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where worm do not die, and the fire is not quenched. [Mark 9:43-48]. “Come NOW, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” [Isaiah 1:18].

I pray that the Holy Ghost will use this message to grip your soul – and make you come to your senses. Because if you do not stop sinning, one of the greatest torments in Hell for you will be every sermon you heard, every conversation spoken to you concerning repentance and every plea that was made asking you to receive Christ as your Savior, will be repeated in your mind over and over throughout eternity. “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” [Isaiah 55:6-7].

“Now I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life…” [Deuteronomy 30:19]. Because Hell is real and people are going there.

“The World is in Trouble!”

By Lou Yeboah

Hear me and hear me good. If you never listen to anything else I say, listen today. The judgment of God is looming right over the horizon. Don’t be caught off guard, going about your daily life, unable to understand what is going on around you. Put yourself in a position to hear the warning, to understand what it means, and to have the wisdom to act accordingly. Our world has just about reached the limit of God’s mercy and forbearance. Man’s pride and arrogance, his greed and selfishness, his violence and brutality have reached a level which is intolerable. Our nation and world is in turmoil and this is the time for God’s people to get right with God. To repent of our own sins and to pray that in the midst of His coming wrath, He would remember mercy. [Habakkuk 3:2]. This was the message God gave to the Assyrians in Nineveh in the 8th Century BC through the preaching of the prophet Jonah. [Jonah 1:2]; and it is the same message He is giving to us today through his Word; a message of a judgment that is coming.

You know, Noah could have thought, “One hundred and twenty years is a long ways off,” and procrastinated on building the ark. But he didn’t do that. AS SOON AS HE HEARD God’s warning about the coming judgment, he went to work building the ark. It took him over a century to complete, but he kept at it. It seemed crazy to the world, but it all suddenly made sense when the sky began to pour rain and the fountains of the deep opened up. But then it was too late! Then the destruction that DID come found the people unprepared. Heed the warning! The judgment of God is looming right over the horizon.

God has issued a clear warning: A “Category 5” storm of judgment is heading toward everyone who dwells on earth! The door of His ark is still open. Flee to Christ and you will be saved. Scoff at the warning and you will be lost forever. As the three angels proclaimed in Revelation 14, ‘with loud voices’, very strong and dire warnings to the world, as well as the angel in Revelation 18, ‘crying out mightily’ to the inhabitants of the world, giving God’s final warning and call of mercy, it is high time for us to heed these final warnings, because we are living in end times.

Wake up! Be reminded and become aware of these things which will soon affect every single one of us. Time will not just “continue on” the way it has, so says the Word of God. And even as it begins to happen, God is faithful, and His Word says that someone will see [Ezekiel 33:3] the sword coming upon the land, and this someone is commanded to give warning or indeed lose his own life also!” Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among you. [Jeremiah 6: 18]. The trumpet is sounding. The time is at hand. It is near. The judgment of God is looming over the horizon. We must take heed to God’s warnings or suffer the consequences.

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live…” [Deuteronomy 30:19].

“Say to Them, As I Live, Saith the Lord God…”

By Lou Yeboah

“…I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn ye, turn ye, from your evil ways, for, why will ye die…?” [Ezekiel 33:11]. There is no reason for you to perish; there is no reason for you to die in your sin. Why do you insist on doing things your way? Why do insist on being disobedience? “I will not tolerate this stubborn, hard head stiff-necked spirit any longer.” Repent and live! Don’t be one of the multitudes of people who will lift up their eyes from Hell, crying out as they remember the “random” incidences where the Holy Spirit tried to reach them. I have provided a way of escape for you. Take it! If you don’t you will reap the consequences of your choice.  It will be Hell before going to Hell!”

For years now I have shown such long-suffering towards you, just as I did Sodom, restraining My anger, giving you much time to repent and change your ways, but naw, you insist on doing things your way. You are just like Jehoram, who knew the path to take, but chose not to walk in it. As a consequence of his choice, his end was the most pathetic and dishonorable of any of the other kings of Judah. [2 Chronicles 21:12-15]

Listen, and listen very carefully. If you do not make some radical decisions NOW, and set your face like flint to walk another way. If you go on yielding to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life as your way of life, you will get just what sin warrant? Death! Do not be misled – My justice will not be mocked. I will judge you according to your ways, and I will repay you for all your abominations. My eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity… [Ezekiel 7:3-8]. Know ye not that the unrighteous; nor fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortion, shall inherit the kingdom of God…” [1Corinthians 6: 9-10]. Behold, NOW is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME,” behold, NOW is “THE DAY OF SALVATION” [2 Corinthians 6:2].

“So, this I say therefore, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God…” [Ephesians 4: 17-21]. Understand, you may never have another day to repent in. Therefore, says the voice of wisdom, “REPENT NOW! Consider your “latter end,” and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for He is thy life, and the length of thy days…” [Deuteronomy 30:19-20]

“I Tell You, We Should All Pray As Moses Did In Psalms 90:12…”

By Lou Yeboah

“Lord, teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Of all that Moses could have asked, he simply asked, “Lord, teach us to number our days.”  Moses understood that his time here on earth was short. Paul said that it is closer than when we first believed. The night is just about to be over and it is day time. Wake up! You can’t continue to live like you have been living. Don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. It would be madness to jeopardize your soul for naught; post to hell without excuse; and place yourself under the possible necessity of being damned. How long have you got left? How many more times will your eyes flicker open in the morning as consciousness comes into focus? How many more breaths are going to flood your lungs with life-giving oxygen? How many more beats of your heart will pump that oxygen to your vital organs, until it stops for good? Do you ever think about these things? I tell you, we should all pray as Moses did, Lord, teach us to number our days, that we may our hearts unto wisdom.”

This message is a reminder, a word of warning or, caution for those who are so busy living from day to day they forget how completely fragile and uncertain life is. Simply stated by James, our lives are only a mist, a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Here today and gone tomorrow; here one minute and gone the next.  Decide today to give yourself over to the will of God, letting each day count for eternity. “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while He is near.”  Proverbs- 1:24-28; 27:1; 29:1 warns us that we are not to wait too late about making our decision of commitment to God and to receive forgiveness for our sins. Don’t take a chance and think that you will have time to get saved or repent later on in life. For Hell is filling up fast with people who thought that they would repent later on in their life. Some of them, like you, had heard the Gospel: were convicted by the Holy Spirit and Word of God; and had expected to get saved “SOMEDAY.” Unfortunately, for them, their “SOMEDAY” never came. According to Christ, it is absolutely imperative and important for us to be transformed if we desire to enter into God’s Kingdom. Decide today to give yourself over to the will of God, letting each day count for eternity. Allow God to have His way with you. “Whereas ye know not what shall be on tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appeareth for a little time, and then vanishes away.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Be awed by God’s eternity. Be humbled by life’s brevity.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death… Now choose life…” Deuteronomy 30:15-20.

“Can You Hear Me Now… {Corona-virus} Do I Have Your Attention?”

By Lou Yeboah

Listen… If you think the “Corona-virus” is something—I tell you, but, Nay, except you REPENT… ALL of you will likewise perish… That’s right… I’M FED UP… I’m sick of your sin and disobedience. I’m sick of your rejection, your injustice, and your complaining. Think you can flaunt your sin in My face and nothing happens. Think you can continually take My Grace for granted and nothing happens… I tell you what….Yield yourselves to Me, and serve Me, ONLY THEN, will I let you live and not bring on you any of the diseases which I put on the Egyptians.  Because from the day you came out of the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have rebelled against Me, so much so, that I am ready to destroy you.  I tell you, IF YOU DO NOT REPENT, All of you will likewise perish! I have for along time held my peace; I have been still, and restrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once… No more will I relent if you do not repent! You have been warned, says the Lord.”

I want you to know that both the Old and New Testaments display a God who doesn’t tolerate sin, he punished it.  A few stories from the Old Testament: The Garden: God didn’t tolerate Adam and Eve’s sin. He didn’t accept their lifestyle choice to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He banished them from Eden and left an angel with flaming swords to guard the entrance so they couldn’t return. Noah and the Flood: His anger was provoked against the sin of Noah’s day and He brought on the flood that changed the face of the world. Uzzah: One of the most uncomfortable accounts of divine intolerance found in [2 Samuel 6]. This story recounts Uzzah’s attempt to steady the ark of the Lord after an oxen stumbled on the journey back to Israel. When he reached out and touched the ark, Uzzah’s instinctive response was met with God’s intense anger, and Uzzah was immediately struck down. I could go on and on throughout the Old Testament, considering Achan, Korah, Aaron’s sons, the Canaanites, and the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah, just to name a few. All perished by the very hand of God. He did not tolerate their sin; he punished it.

I tell you, God is very patient and loving with us. He gives us many chances to repent and turn from our wickedness. One day, however, His toleration of sin will cease. That is the lesson of the Old Testament, that God waits, longing for people to repent. However, He will not delay punishment forever and when it does arrive, it will be without recourse. The lesson to humanity today is to repent while there is time.

“The people of Nineveh believed God; they proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least of them… The king made proclamation… “Let everyone turn from his evil way and from the violence which is in his hands.” [Jonah 3:5, 7-9]

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. So choose life, so that you and your descendants may live, 20and that you may love the LORD your God, obey Him, and hold fast to Him…” [Deuteronomy 30:19].
