(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK—ENN)— Because you see every time we encounter the Word of God, an unseen world of spiritual forces go to work. We don’t usually think about this, since our experience—for instance, reading the Bible —feels so patently mundane. But read Jesus’ first parable in Matthew 13 and you’ll gain a renewed sense of weightiness for the moment when your life and God’s Word intersect.

I tell you, God’s Words are powerful. It took just a handful of them to create the entire known universe. If those Words are taking root in you, that same power will be at work in your life. But naw, you rather search Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, My Space, Linked-In and a whole slew of other social networking websites. “These social networks were originally created to give people a means to communicate and stay connected with others.  But what started out as a novelty has now turned into a serious addiction for many. These electronic tools that are supposed to help us stay connected have actually caused us to become more disconnected than ever before. If you don’t believe me, look around the room at your next family gathering or at the next social event you go to, and take notice of how many people are staring at their SmartPhones or Tablet screens, totally disconnected from everything that is going on around them. This addiction has even created a whole new problem in our Churches . Many are now looking at their SmartPhones instead of the Scriptures during the worship services.   They are tuning into their social media messages and tuning out the message from God’s Word.” I tell you, “Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all people everywhere to repent.”

Listen, God’s Word is the foundation of our lives. The Christian life, from start to finish, is utterly dependent on the grace of God. Not only do we come into spiritual life by sheer grace, but it is in divine grace that we continue on. It is by God’s grace that our soul survives through many trials, is strengthened for everyday life, and grows into greater maturity and health. I tell you, you can either follow the counsel of the world or the counsel of the Word. But Psalm 1 tells us that we should make God’s Word our delight and meditate on it consistently – day and night. I pray that through the teaching of this message today that if you are not regularly reading and studying the Word of God you will began to make God’s Word a regular diet for your life.

For He says, “Consider the sower who went out to sow. As he was sowing some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and ate them up. Others fell on rocky ground, where there wasn’t much soil, and they sprang up quickly since the soil wasn’t deep. But when the sun came up they were scorched, and since they had no root, they withereed. Others fell among thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them. Still others fell on good ground and produced a crop: some 100, some 60, and some 30 times what was sown. He who has an ear, let him hear [Matthew 13:3-9].  And as you read through this, think about which type of soil you relate to and how receptive you are to hearing the truth of the gospel. For I tell you, “Everything else will pass away, [Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the like ] “but the Word of God stands forever” [Isaiah. 40:8].

“The Meaning of July Fourth for the Negro!”

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK—ENN)— Oration delivered by abolitionist Frederick Douglass in Rochester, N.Y. on July 5, 1852, entitled “The Meaning of July Fourth for the Negro”.

“Fellow-citizens, pardon me, allow me to ask, why am I called upon to speak here to-day? What have I, or those I represent, to do with your national independence? Are the great principles of political freedom and of natural justice, embodied in that Declaration of Independence, extended to us? The blessings in which you, this day, rejoice, are not enjoyed in common. —The rich inheritance of justice, liberty, prosperity and independence, bequeathed by your fathers, is shared by you, not by me. The sunlight that brought life and healing to you has brought stripes and death to me. This Fourth [of] July is yours, not mine. You may rejoice, I must mourn. To drag a man in fetters into the grand illuminated temple of liberty, and call upon him to join you in joyous anthems, were inhuman mockery and sacrilegious irony. Do you mean, citizens, to mock me, by asking me to speak to-day? What, to the American slave, is your 4th of July? I answer: a day that reveals to him, more than all other days in the year, the gross injustice and cruelly to which he is the constant victim. To him, your celebration is a sham; your boasted liberty, an unholy license; your national greatness, swelling vanity; your sounds of rejoicing are empty and heartless; your denunciations of tyrants, brass fronted impudence; your shouts of liberty and equality, hollow mockery; your prayers and hymns, your sermons and thanksgivings, with all your religious parade, and solemnity, are, to him, mere bombast, fraud, deception, impiety, and hypocrisy—a thin veil to cover up crimes which would disgrace a nation of savages… For black men there are neither law, justice, humanity, not religion.” [Frederick Douglass]

“One hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we’ve come here today to dramatize a shameful condition. In a sense we’ve come to our nation’s capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the “unalienable Rights” of “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked “insufficient funds.” But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. And so, we’ve come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice. We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksand’s of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children. It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges…. And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true…” [Martin Luther King Jr].

There are forces in operation, which must inevitably work the downfall of slavery. “The arm of the Lord is not shortened,” and the doom of slavery is certain. Why Are You Still in the Same Position that You Were In This Time Last Year?

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK-ENN)— Aren’t you tied of being tied? Aren’t you tied of being stuck on stupid?  Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Don’t you know for a different outcome you must do something different. Listen, the purpose of my thought and intention today is to convey the significance of the moment we as a people of God have embarked upon. It is an occasion of opportunity, a point of entering, a moment of possessing. It’s time to move forward into the blessings of God that is set before us, without reservation. Drop your complaceny and move! Because God desire to take you places that “eyes have not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” Don’t allow fear and unbelief to keep you from seeing the incredible or receiving the impossible. Shake yourself off from the things that inhibit or obstruct your mobility and progression from entering into the things God has prepared for you. Get up and move! It’s time to overcome! I assure you as [Mark 11:23] says, “If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Can you believe today?  Are you ready to be an overcomer? Because in Christ you are set free to live holy before God – you are not meant to be overcame but to overcome!  AMEN!

Are you with me? If so, then get up and move and face your mountain by faith in the name of Jesus and declare, “Get Behind me, Satan!” For the Bible tells us in [2 Corinthians 10:5], “That we cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” So are you ready?  Are you ready to say goodbye to defeat and start living a victorious life with God? Are you ready to be SET FREE?  For surely you have stayed at this mountain long enough. It is God’s will for you to live in His Freedom, Liberty, and Victory!  He’s calling you to move on from “the mountain that you’ve made out of a molehill” and cast it into the sea! You’re an overcomer! [Deuteronomy 1:6]. And if you have never talked to yourself before, I want you to talk to yoruself now and say, “I’ve been here too long… I’ve been here too long between deficiency and destiny. God has created an open place for me to walk in and I must begin to walk. For He said, “I open up doors that no man can shut.” It’s time to occupy! For God has promised me victory! I’ve stayed at this mountain long enough! It’s time to Overcome!  It’s time to leave that mountain behind and move on to the promised land! For I call to reality God’s council in my life. I call to reality my dreams and visions. I call to reality the manifestation of God blessings in my life today. “It’s Time to Move Forward!” For I’ve come too far to give up now! I decided that come hell or high water, I will not give up! I will not throw in the towel!  The struggle has been too hard and certainly too long, but like Paul, I am pressing towards the mark of a higher calling. To Hell with the Devil and his tactics! I’m going to keep on keeping on.

Yes! I encourage you to keep pressing and don’t let anybody, anything, situation or circumstance, stop you from pressing towards your blessing.  Be steadfast, don’t give up. Be steadfast, don’t grow weary. Be steadfast, and don’t faint at life’s obstacles. You can make it. Just like Abraham, Isaac, Moses, David and many more who struggled, they fought, but they made it. They won. They kept the faith. They laid aside every weight and sin; and endured until the end. They completed the race. They didn’t just start the marathon, they finished the marathon. We too must finish what God has started in us. We can’t quit now. As Paul said in [2 Timothy 4:7], “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith.” We can’t give up now. Decide to “Live Radical” for God. Trust Him. It is only that you do not understand that heaven has commenced an action in your favor and God is at work in your life. We may not know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. His Word in [Psalms 30:5] says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” There is hope. Keep trusting God. Keep travailing, keep giving, keep rejoicing, and keep fighting until the victory is won…  Hold on! God will bring His promises to pass. For truly it is time for you to move from where you are in life to where God wants you to be!  [Joshua 1:1-11].

Knowing that God is a God of vision and movement, we must not become complacent in our walk with God.  “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.” [Philippians 3:12].

I Don’t Know About You…. But I’m Sho Glad God is a Forgiving God…

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK—ENN)— You see, as one hymn writer put it: I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore, very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more, but the Master of the sea heard my despairing cry, from the waters lifted me, now safe am I….  Yes, Love lifted me, when nothing else could help… Love lifted me…”  Death bound me with chains, and the floods of ungodliness mounted a massive attack against me. Trapped and helpless, I struggled against the ropes that drew me on to death. In my distress I screamed to the Lord for his help. And he heard me from heaven; my cry reached his ears [Psalm 18:4-6]. “Amazing grace—how sweet the sound—that saved a wretch like me! I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see.”[Amazing Grace – John Newton].

And what I see is that Sin has many people today shackled, bound, disenfranchised, and incarcerated. Despite how many times we might say, “This is the last time I will do this.” It is often that very thing we find ourselves doing! Paul wrote in [Romans 7:19-21], “For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. Paul even asks in [Romans 7:24], “O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?”

 I submit to you today my brothers and sisters, freedom can be attained. For th Lord says, “Come now, and let us reason together, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool [Isaiah 1:18]. Tell me, what is it that is keeping you from walking out of your prison doors? Jesus wants you to be free [Acts 16:16-34]. Don’t you want to be freed from your shackles today?

If so, do what David did in [2 Samuel 12]. Come clean with God. Ask God for forgiveness. Own responsibility for your sin. Accept God’s forgiveness and cleansing. Request a fresh work of grace. Then resolve to use past failures for ministry. David tells God, when you do this new work in me “then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you. Open my lips, Lord and my mouth will declare your praise. [v. 13, 15].

Over and over in Scripture we are reminded that we serve a God who, although doesn’t treat sin lightly, understands that we are mortal and struggle with sin. And out of His love for us, He wants to forgive us. I want you to know that God promises forgiveness for our sins.  Jesus said in John 8:36, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

I admonish you to “Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.” [Isaiah 55:6-7]

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” [1 John 1:9]

“ …Let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted.” [Isaiah 43:25-26]

“Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.” [Revelation 7:12]

“Father’s Day— A Day We Celebrate Our Dads, Step-dads, Grandfathers, And All Men Who Are Father Figures In Our Lives!”

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK—ENN)—Now I know that for many of you Fathers’ Day is not easy. Some of you had bad relationships with your fathers. A few of you may not have known your Dad – even if you lived with him. And this day  is difficult for some of you because your dad is no longer here. Some of you have a dad who has deserted you. Some have abusive or violent fathers. But I want you to know that you are a child of the Most High and he loves you soooo much and he would never leave you or treat you badly. Believe that!

Now I know being a Dad isn’t easy these days because there are some dads who feel discouraged and others who’ve been dissed by their kids. But my message to the Father’s today, is to step it up, man up, be strong, and  be courageous. Wear the pants! You got to know that there is an epidemic of weakness that is sweeping into our family. Yes its true, that the culture is infiltrating the family, leaving some fearful of leading and making decisions, but I tell you God is looking for you [men] to step up to the plate and be who He has intended you to be. Children are out of control and needing role models. Your wives need you to be godly. Your children are needing you to be godly. Your church is needing you to be godly. Every avenue of your life cry for you to be godly. Families are falling apart- Society is suffering because men are failing in their God given roles as spiritual leaders. If you [men] would just be as God intended, you would change this world!

God is looking for some men to take back their homes, their churches, their communities for Jesus Christ and snatch some from the flames of Hell as God leads them. Do you want to be a part of that moment of God? If so, take back the power God gave you. You are to lead your family (by example). First, you are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul. Second, Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church. Third, you are to train up your child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it. Step up, man up, be strong,  be courageous, wear the pants! Understanding that instructions and disciplines should be in the love that Christ has for us and that you should never present yourself as the ultimate authority that rules with an iron fist.That’s it and that’s all!

Now for those of you who don’t have a Father…I want to leave you with a love letter from God…. You may not know me, but I know everything about you …I know when you sit down and when you rise up …I am familiar with all your ways …Even the very hairs on your head are numbered …For you were made in my image …In me you live and move and have your being …For you are my offspring…I knew you even before you were conceived …I chose you when I planned creation …You were not a mistake, for all your days are written in my book …I determined the exact time of your birth and where you would live …You are fearfully and wonderfully made …I knit you together in your mother’s womb …And brought you forth on the day you were born …I have been misrepresented by those who don’t know me …I am not distant and angry, but am the complete expression of love …And it is my desire to lavish my love on you …Simply because you are my child and I am your father …I offer you more than your earthly father ever could …For I am the perfect father…Every good gift that you receive comes from my hand …For I am your provider and I meet all your needs …My plan for your future has always been filled with hope …Because I love you with an everlasting love …My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore And I rejoice over you with singing …I will never stop doing good to you …For you are my treasured possession …I desire to establish you with all my heart and all my soul …And I want to show you great and marvelous things …If you seek me with all your heart, you will find me …Delight in me and I will give you the desires of your heart …For it is I who gave you those desires … I am able to do more for you than you could possibly imagine …For I am your greatest encourager …I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles …When you are brokenhearted, I am close to you …As a shepherd carries a lamb, I have carried you close to my heart One day I will wipe away every tear from your eyes …And I’ll take away all the pain you have suffered on this earth …I am your Father, and I love you even as I love my son, Jesus …For in Jesus, my love for you is revealed …He is the exact representation of my being …He came to demonstrate that I am for you, not against you …And to tell you that I am not counting your sins …Jesus died so that you and I could be reconciled …His death was the ultimate expression of my love for you … I gave up everything I loved that I might gain your love …If you receive the gift of my son Jesus, you receive me …And nothing will ever separate you from my love again …Come home and I’ll throw the biggest party heaven has ever seen …I have always been Father, and will always be Father …My question is…Will you be my child? …I am waiting for you…Love, Your Dad. Almighty God

The ache in your heart that convinces you that there is more to this life than what you can see Ecc 3:11 can begin to be fulfilled now by reconnecting to our Father God, maker of heaven and earth who created us and all humanity to walk in the garden with Himself. The Father awaits you.

“God Has Made It Very Clear…!”

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK—ENN)— …that the Consequence of Sin is Death, “but” The Gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus! “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked….” [Galatians 6:7]. Playing games with God is a very dangerous situation. Living in and Out of Sin is a very dangerous situation. Don’t play games with the God of your Salvation! Don’t play games with Sin! Because God’s Law of Harvest cannot be broken,and you cannot neglect God’s law without consequences [Hebrew 2: 2-3].

I tell you, for this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?  Understand, if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. [Hebrew 10: 26-29]. Jesus said that your soul is worth more than the rest of the world put together. He asked, “What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)

Listen, the consequence of suppressing the truth is that God gives the sinner over to “The Sinful Desires of Their Hearts,” “Shameful Lusts” and “A Depraved Mind” [Romans 1:24-28].  I tell you, it is a fearful thing to be “Given Over” to your own destructive ways. God has made it clear that “The Soul Who Sins Will Die” [Ezekiel 18:4].  What shall you do?’” The answer, simple yet profound: “Repent!” 

As [Proverbs 8: 32-36] says, “Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.” 

Although this message has been preached for 2,000 years. It has been ignored by most of those that have heard it. It is still being ignored in this day, and it will be ignored during the dark days of the Tribulation, but as an Ambassador for Christ it is my duty to remind you of the “Final Proclamation” [Revelation Chapter 14].

Repent, Repent, Repent!

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: [Deuteronomy 30:19]

“I Tell You, You Can Dismiss, Ignore, or Not Pay Attention If You Want To…!”

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK—ENN)— The Bible says Christ will come like a thief in the night, when you least expect him. It will happen in the twinkling of an eye, with the sound of a trumpet… Continuing things as you have. What willful ignorance! You must be ready at all times. Listen, Isaiah the prophet was sent to King Hezekiah with an alarming message. “Set thine house in order for thou shalt die and not live.” I tell you, the same warning is for us today, “Set thine house in order for thou shalt die and not live.” Life is short; death is sure and God’s judgment is coming [Hebrews 9:2]. As Paul constantly cried, “Wake up! It is past midnight, and the Lord’s coming has drawn near. Stir yourself and don’t be slothful. “Knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light” [Romans 13:11-12]. Jesus announces, “Behold, I come quickly..” [Revelation 22:7].

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow… — yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Don’t dismiss the warnings.  “A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.” [Proverbs 22:3]. “Wake up and weep, you drunkards!” “For the Day of the Lord is coming; surely it is near.” [Joel 1:5, 2:1]. “…. Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God; and remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.” [Revelation 3: 1-3]. 

I tell you the signpost reads, “Stop! Look! Listen! Danger ahead!” The Spirit of God, your conscience and your better judgment all join to warn, “Detour! Change! You’re on the wrong road!” God is waving the red flag. His patience is coming to an end. Do not take God’s patience for granted or think lightly of it. Christ demands an immediate and unquestioning response. “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” [Isaiah 55:6-7]

The demand of Jesus to repent goes to all the nations. It comes to us, whoever we are and wherever we are, and lays claim on us. This is the demand of Jesus to every soul: The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near, Repent and believe in the good news! [Mark 1:15]

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” [Deuteronomy 30:19]

“Warn My People the End Times are near…!”

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK—ENN)— I tell you, there is not a moment to lose. We must pray like we’ve never prayed before. We must study God’s Word like never before. We must repent and turn away from our sins.  We must seek Christ daily and walk with Him daily. God spoke to me – warn my people the end times are near – to prepare for a time of trouble. “And what I say to you, I say to all: Be on the alert!” [Mark `13:37] Be on the alert at all times, praying in order that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man [Luke 21:36].

Yes, many people throughout history have been proclaiming that we were living in the last days and the end of the world was near, but I want you to know that never has there been a time before when allthese events were evident in so many diverse places and with such frequency and intensity. The Bible is very clear on that. We just can’t set specific dates for Jesus return. But we can know when the end is near. [Matthew 24:33]

You know when Noah and Lot warned their respective people of God’s coming judgment and destruction, the people would not listen. Instead they treated Noah and Lot as “extremists.” Then the destruction that did come found the people unprepared.  As in the days of Noah and Lot, the soon return of the Lord will be a snare unto the people who do not heed the warning and give their lives to Christ. I hope that you can see from the above Biblical signs of the end times that our generation is truly living in the last days, nearing the second coming of Christ Jesus. We are living in a time like no other. The world is being turned upside down and we need to get ready! If you are not a Christian and you realize that we are living in the end times and are wondering what you need to do, give your heart to Jesus. He is about to return to bring judgment upon the whole world.

“So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” [Matthew 24:33-34]

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. Worse time of trouble ever seen on earth.” [Matthew 24:21]

 “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat upon him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword [war], and with hunger [famine], and with death [war, earthquakes, mudslides etc], and with the beasts of the earth [Revelation 6:8].

Yes, this message is a warning from God’s Word for everyone to repent of their sins and begin to live Godly lives in the light of the scriptures and to begin to seek God with great intensity, honesty, sincerity and urgency. “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return [TURN] unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him and He will abundantly pardon.” [Isaiah 55:7]. 

I beg you, don’t be like Felix and miss it! Be like Paul and seize the day for God’s glory. Life is so uncertain. There is no opportunity for obedience after death.[Hebrew 9:27].  I don’t know who I’m talking too, but God says, “NOW – TODAY – NOT TOMORROW” Time is not on your side! Whoever you are, you have heard the Gospel many, many times in the past, and you’ve been spoken to by the Holy Spirit, but you have not heeded the warnings.” I beg you today, please, do not trifle with your soul’s salvation, “Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” [James 4:14]. The Urgency of Today. The Insistence of God. Know that ‘TODAY’ may be the very last time you may be exposed to the Gospel of the grace of God. Don’t blow it! Don’t delay!  “NOW,” “TODAY,” repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your Savior. For the Bible declares, “Behold, “NOW” is the acceptable time; behold, “NOW” is the day of salvation.” “NOW” is Mercy’s offer. “NOW” is the invitation from God, reaching down from Heaven. Know that the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance [2 Peter 3:9].

Three passages in the [Book of Proverbs- Chapter 1:24-28; Chapter 27:1; and Chapter 29:1] warns us that we are not to wait too late about making our decision of commitment to trust Christ as our Savior and Lord and to receive forgiveness for our sins. Don’t take a chance and think that you will have time to get saved or repent later on in life. “For Hell is filling up fast with people who thought that they would repent later on in their life. Some of them, like you, had heard the Gospel; were convicted by the Holy Spirit and Word of God, and had expected to get saved ‘SOMEDAY.” Unfortunately, for them, their “SOMEDAY” never came.”

For truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent [Acts 17:30]. Hear what the God of the Bible says about waiting to call out for salvation: “Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; but ye have set at naught all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call up me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me. For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord; therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.” [Proverbs 1:24-31].

‘See then that you walk circumspectly (carefully) not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.’  [Ephesians 5:15

“No one knows the day or hour of his appointed time. And no man knows the day or hour of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.  [Mark 13:32; Matthew 25:13]; Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not…” [Luke 12:40]

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that “I have set before you life and death; therefore choose life that both you and your descendants may live, that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him for He is your life and the length of your days. [Deuteronomy 30:19-20]

“A Mother’s Love…!”

(EMPIRE NEWS NETWORK—ENN)— You know, there have been many definitions of love. There have been many people who have written books about love. There are songs about love. There are poems about love. There are discussions about love. But when you’ve said it all and you’ve read it all and you’ve sung it all, you just might wonder “What Love Got to Do with It,” because the things they talk about, sing about and write about really aren’t about love at all, but rather about affection, longing, goose-bumps types of emotional thrills. The love they talk about runs hot, it runs cold, and it runs lukewarm. It brings tears of joy, tears of depression, and screams of excitement and hollers of disappointment. However, the Bible addresses aGreater Love” that uses an entirely different term than “philo.” That term is Agape. A love characterized by commitment. A love, that takes captive and cleaves and unites and cherishes and defends.  A love that last, that is not fickle, or uncertain, or capricious, but durable, constant, and stable. A love, that bleeds into every fabric and fiber of our lives. A love, that is beyond comprehension. Nothing, no calling or circumstance, no adversity or advancement, no pain or promotion, no status or station, escapes the brush strokes of this type of love – A Mother’s Love – Unconditional Love, Eternal Love!

As God describes His love for us, He says in (Isaiah 66:13) look at the love a mother has for her children, her family; it is nurturing, faithful, protective, and sacrificial. “…. She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants. She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” (Proverbs 31:10-29)

I encourage you, if your mother is still a live; appreciate her because she is irreplaceable. If she is no longer here, a leave you with a love letter from God ……“You may not know me, but I know everything about you. I know when you sit down and when you rise. I am familiar with all your ways. Even the very hairs on your head are numbered. For you were made in my image. In me you live and move and have your being. For you are my offspring. I knew you even before you were conceived. I chose you when I planned creation. You were not a mistake, for all your days are written in my book. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. It is my desire to lavish my love on you. Simply because you are my child and I am your father. My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore. And I rejoice over you with singing. I will never stop doing good to you. You are my treasured possession. I desire to establish you with all my heart and all my soul. And I want to show you great and marvelous things. If you seek me with all your heart, you will find me. Delight in me and I will give you the desires of your heart. I am able to do more for you than you could possibly imagine. I am your greatest encourager. I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles. I am your Father, and I love you even as I love my son, Jesus.  I gave up everything I loved that I might gain your love.  Will you be my child?  I am waiting for you.  Love your Father, Almighty God.

Oh, May God gives us the power to comprehend what is the height and depth and length and breadth, and to know the love of Christ through our mothers which passes knowledge that we might be filled with all the fullness of Him.

To the only wise God my Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen!
