What It Do With The LUE: Fitz Taylor

received_10205964428574256What It Do! Rapper Fitz Taylor, The Puerto Rican Papi, as he likes to be called by the ladies is making major moves in the music industry. I’ve seen and heard this dude for myself, and yes he is a contender in the rap game.
Straight out of San Bernardino and born March on 10, this handsome and talented rapper is really buzzing. Fitz is an acronym for “frequently in the Zone”. Fitz began rapping at the age of 14 and never looked backed.  Having an opportunity to experience the tour life in 2014 he rocked stages from Southern California all the way to Vegas with Laylow Entertainment. Pulling his inspiration from several places, such as artists like Nas and Tupac, has helped him in this game along with his family and day to day struggles.
Fitz along with Dj Fredy Fresco of 99.1 Kggi  is currently celebrating the release of his mixtape “Stereo Type”, which is receiving a great response from everyone. I need you to check this young hitta out. Trust me, his name will be in lights. His music links are located below.  I always put on for my city and the indie artists. Until next week, L’s Up!

received_10205901161912629.jpeg

WHAT IT DO I.E.! Well it’s a NEW YEAR and ya girl is back! I hope you missed me. Being a female in the entertainment game; I am always about girl power. I would like to introduce an upcoming entertainment entity called “DIVA’S BASEMENT”, an internet show catering to urban Culture. DIVA’S BASEMENT was formed in 2012 by sisters Nicole Juniel, known as Nikki, and Nina Martinez, known as Nina B. The team also includes two other women,  Danielle Person known as  Queen D and Mychelen Skinner known as My My.

Divas Basement is a metaphor which means “motivated and driven women working hard to help build platforms that urban upcoming artists could use to build their careers from the bottom up.” Their main focus is to talk about issues women are thinking about, but are afraid to say, as well as showcase and interview up and coming talent throughout California. This group of beauties will be bringing you the scoop on all the happenings. I’ve seen these ladies in action, and let me tell you they WORK!!!!  I’m extremely excited for them and wish them SUCCESS.

Filming for their first show starts soon, so if you or someone you know wants to be on their show please email them at DivasBasement@gmail.com. They are looking for musicians, R&B artists, rappers, poets, dancers, models, fashion designers, hair and makeup artists, athletes, cooks, and  more. Please go like their Facebook page at The Diva’s Basement. Well I’m outta here, until next time. L’s UP!

What It Do With the LUE: OnMyMama.TV

On My Mama TV

LIGHTS, CAMERA, AND ACTION! Hi, my peeps! It’s such a beautiful day in the neighborhood. This week WHAT IT DO is videography. With that being said, I have to highlight, Onmymama.tv for making major moves and so quickly. Onmymama.TV based out of the Inland Empire, was founded in 2014 by Aaron Block, CEO of onmymama.tv; Paul Douglas; and Jonathan Glinsey.

What started as a conversation had become a reality. Aaron Block came up with the idea of not paying and depending on videographers to shoot his videos, so he decided to learn how to do it himself. Pulling in Jonathan Glinsey, who has a degree in photography and is
the head Director along with Paul Douglas, as the Assistant Director for Onmymama.tv, the three decided to take videography to another level. Shaken things up in the IE the team specializes in shooting live interviews, freestyles, red carpet events, music videos, weddings, sports, documentaries, and more.

I’ve had an opportunity to use these young talented Kings on projects for my LUE Productions artist’s which include Dada Dado, Speaker Junkiez, Paul Douglas, and Mack Pepperboy. Let’s just say that I was 100 percent satisfied with the ending results.

Paul Douglas came up with the name Onmymama and Aaron Block added TV, then the magic appeared and the rest is history. So, if you need any work done at an affordable rate that is QUALTY, make sure to look up Onmymama.tv. via YouTube and add them on Facebook at Mymamatv, and that’s on MAMAS!

What It Do With the LUE: Feeding the Homeless

What up beautiful people! Well the only thing it do with LUE at the moment is feeding the homeless here in my home town of San Bernardino. Help us fight the war on hunger all year long but especially during these holiday months. LUE Productions along with several community members and entertainment entities will be in full force this coming Tuesday located at 114 S. Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino. We are still in need of volunteers. Come on down and join us! Remember it’s about giving not receiving. Until next week!

What it Do amazing people! Well, San Manuel does it again with another entertaining and successful event for the Inland Empire. I had a blast at Mikes Epps Comedy Tour titled, “After Dark for the Grown & Sexy”! I said it before and I’ll say it again, laughter is good for the soul.

San Manuel bought out the very funny and talented comedian Mike Epps along with his team Comedian G Thang and Comedian Scruncho. I’ve never seen theses comics live, only on television. I’ve always wanted to see Epps do his thing in person and I finally got a chance to. I had more than one person say how Mike, wasn’t that funny in person.

Well, I think he proved critics wrong. Last week he had the entire theater cracking up with his crazy jokes. The audience was diverse and full of folks ready to have a good time and laugh. Walking out onto the stage looking so fresh and clean, that sexy man did that! Mike Epps’ career as a comic began in 1995. Since then his career has taken off. You may have seen him on the big screen in films such as, “Next Friday,” “Friday After Next,” and “All About the Benjamin’s.” He was recently selected to play the role of the famous comedian, Richard Prior, which will be coming to a theater near you soon. I’m excited about that one can’t wait.

Once again KUDO’s to San Manuel! Until Next Week!

LUE PRODUCTIONS: Top Cook Competition/Comedy Show Recap

LUE PROD PHOTO 6 GROUP PHOTO

What it Do! OMG, if you missed our TOP COOK COMPETITION/COMEDY SHOW Fundraiser on Friday, October 24 then you missed one heck of an event. The night was beautiful, as well as the dishes presented by our three competitors Iesha Nelson, Lawanda Lee, and Lanoris Brown. However, as we all know there can only be one winner. That night Chef Lanoris Brown reined supreme receiving high scores in taste, presentation, skill, and overall performance. Chef Brown, along with his team, came with their A-game on all levels, and he was crowned LUE PRODUCTIONS TOP COOK.

Audience members were able to experience some of the fabulous entrees that each cook made. The competitors had to present a three course meal for a panel of comedy judges. Talk about no pressure.

Chef Lanoris’ meal consisted of the following: an appetizer which was blackened chicken spring rolls. The entrée consisted of stuffed airline chicken breast with a mousseline forcemeat and asparagus, and to top it all off, for dessert he cooked a deep fried granola bar with cream cheese frosting, blue berries and raspberries, and then topped it with whipped cream and powdered sugar. All I have to say is when I get some more pocket change I will defiantly hire him as a personal chef, he’s that good! Congratulations, Chef Brown.

Chef Lanoris Brown graduated from Riverside Culinary Arts where he learned from some of the best in the field. This allowed Lanoris to create his own unique style. His fusion of Soul Food, Mexican, and Asian cuisine mixed with a little bit of French keeps folks wanting more. His desire is to one day be a restaurant owner. He stated that “he wants to see people eating and enjoying his food.”

Until next time and see you next week IE, much love!

WHAT IT DO WITH LUE: Gwaap Fam Entertainment

Gwaap Fam Ent

Gwaap Fam Ent

What it do! What it do! What it do! Let me introduce a talented group out of my city, the Inland Empire (I.E.). Love, Loyalty, Family, and Perseverance; these are just a few of the words that accurately describe the core values of “Gwaap Fam Entertainment.”

Founded in late 2007, “Gwaap Fam Entertainment” has been giving the I.E. Quality music since its creation. The Gwaap Fam was formed on The Northside of San Bernardino, California with the thought process that GOD is over everything, family under God and money over everything else.

The sound of this group, well they don’t really have a sound. This talent refuses to be marginalized. From turn up club music to deep thought provoking conscious rap, The Gwaap Fam is multi-faceted and won’t be tied down by titles of sounds. The group now consists of four main artists, which includes, “Cedric Acrie a.k.a. Bigg Cedd,” “Joshua Rodgers a.k.a. I.E. Swaag,” “Cedric Greene a.k.a. Cedro Mossberg,” and “Jamal Davis a.k.a. King Davis.”

Gwaap Fam Entertainment is a team without a leader. Everybody involved is looked at as their own captain. Some of the musical influences of Gwaap Fam include 2pac, Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, J. Cole, Young Jeezy and Eminem

Please make sure to check out their music on all social media sites under “THE GWAP FAM ENT.”  I totally look forward to hearing more from this group. Until next time, keep it musical!
