No Corners Cut, No Pacifying, No Round-About Way

“It Is What It Is, and It Will Be What It Will Be!”

By Lou Yeboah

I warned you when you were prosperous, but you replied, “Don’t bother me.” You have been that way since childhood— you simply will not obey me [Jeremiah 22:21]. So, because I called and you refused, I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention; because you neglected all my counsel and did not want my reproof, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you, when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. [Proverbs 1:24-27]

Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently but will not find me. Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord, they would have none of my counsel and despised my every rebuke. Therefore, they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies. For the turning away of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil.” [Proverbs 1:28-33]. I tell you, “It Is What It Is, and It Will Be What It Will Be!”

After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! [Revelations 14:8].

For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow. [Revelation 18:3-5]

Therefore, her plagues will come in one day–death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’ [Revelation 18:8-10].

What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? May it never be! [Romans 6]. As the Holy Spirit led Paul to write in [1 Corinthians 6:9-11]: “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Hear what Peter told the onlookers when he healed the beggar at Beautiful gate: “Repent, then, and turn to God. That your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” [Acts 3:19].

“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.” “Choose Life” [Deuteronomy chapter 30]

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles… And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting [Romans 1:18-23; 28]. “It Is What It Is, and It Will Be What It Will Be!”

Don’t Nobody Want to Hear All This Talk About Repentance!”

By Lou Yeboah

Yeah, I know! But while very few people may want to hear this message that does not mean it is a message no one needs to hear. Repentance is difficult. No one wants to think about it. No one wants to contemplate it. No one wants to do it very often, and certainly no one wants to hear about it all the time. But the Word must be in season and out of season, reproving, rebuking, and exhorting with great patience and instruction.

All throughout the Bible we see people being called to repentance. God, Jesus, Paul, Peter, John the Baptist, Prophet Isaiah, and many others, all were involved in clearly communicating to others to repent. Jesus came on the scene saying “Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. [Matthew 4:17]. The fact that you may have a problem with “Repenting” messages, speaks volume.

I write this not to condemn anyone, but this is the urgency we face. The Kingdom of God is at hand! [Matthew 3:2]. The wicked must forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts and seek the Lord while he may be found. There is no time to waste, no excuses to be made. Now is the acceptable time. Now is the day of salvation. [2 Corinthians 6:2].

Because, Jesus, whose way John was preparing, has come. He has accomplished his mission of salvation. He took our place under God’s law and lived a life of perfect obedience. He demonstrated perfect love for everyone, friends, and foes alike, by not telling them what they wanted to hear, but what they needed to hear. He endured rejection from the very people he came to save. He did not complain when the rulers of Israel unjustly convicted and condemned him to death. He willingly took our place on a cursed cross and endured the hell our sins deserved. He demonstrated his power by crushing Satan’s skull under his foot and ripped the heart out of death by stepping out of the tomb. Everything that Jesus came to do – he did. And all that’s left now is to clear the threshing floor of this world; to separate penitent believers from stubborn, impenitent unbelievers. Wherever God’s Word – his Law and Gospel – are proclaimed, that separation is taking place. Right here, right now, Jesus is busy gathering his wheat and burning up the chaff.

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. Behold, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you that you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”

I tell you, there are some warnings that we can afford to ignore, some at which we can even laugh, but this is not one of them. Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand! There’s no time to waste. Life or death. Eternal glory or eternal shame. Heaven or Hell.” Whatcha gonna do?

On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?” From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. [John 6:60, 66].

Repentance – A message No One Likes to Hear!

“And the Lord Was Sorry That He Had Made Man on the Earth, and He was Grieved in His Heart.”

By Lou Yeboah

So, the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” [Genesis 6:6-7].

And then the Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in Me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them? I will strike them down with a plague and destroy them…” [Numbers 14:11-12].

And He withdrew from them about a stone’s cast, and knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, ‘Not my will, but yours be done.’ And there appeared to Him an angel from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony He prayed more earnestly; and His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” [Luke 22:41-44].

Listen, before mankind rebelled against God, we were warned that if we broke fellowship with the Lord, we would face dire consequences. But Jesus, God the Son, took on flesh, became a man, and suffered the penalty we deserved. Yet, in spite of all that Jesus did for us, we rebel against Him. We rebel against the One who gave His life a ransom for us. Shame on you! Shame on me! “We are all like sheep who has gone astray.” [Isaiah 53:6]. “A people with a revolting and a rebellious heart.” [Jeremiah 5:23]. May the Lord have mercy on our soul!

The Bible is clear that there are two possible destinations for every human soul following physical death: heaven or hell [Matthew 25:34, 41, 46; Luke 16:22–23] and for those who do not receive Jesus Christ as Savior, death means everlasting punishment [2 Thessalonians 1:8–9]. This punishment is described in a variety of ways: a lake of fire [Luke 16:24; Revelation 20:14–15], outer darkness [Matthew 8:12], and a prison [1 Peter 3:19]. This place of punishment is eternal [Jude 1:13; Matthew 25:46].

Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion, says the Lord? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted. From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness- only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil. Your country is desolate, your cities burned with fire; your fields are being stripped by foreigners right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers. Daughter Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a cucumber field, like a city under siege. Unless the Lord Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah. [Isaiah 1:5-9]. Therefore, consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, says the Lord. [Revelation 2:4-5].

These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you [Revelation 3:1-3]. Accept Jesus Now! God has made extraordinary efforts to encourage humanity to repent. Consider all the Old Testament calamities, catastrophes, and cataclysms. They were designed to get men to repent.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you, life, and death, blessing and cursing therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. [Deuteronomy 30:19].

However, they did not repent [Revelations 9:20].

“This Is What The LORD Says…”

By Lou Yeboah

“I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you” [1 Chronicles 21:10]. Three years of famine, or three months to be defeated by your foes with the sword of your enemies overtaking you, or else three days the sword of the LORD; the plague in the land, with the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the territory of Israel.” Choose One of them for me to carry out against you” because over and over I have warned you to repent, and you have ignored my warnings!

Now consider what answer I should take back to Him who sent me: And David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Please let me fall into the hand of the LORD, for His mercies are very great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.” [1 Chronicles 21:13].

So, the LORD sent a plague on Israel from that morning until the end of the time designated, and seventy- thousand of the people from Dan to Beersheba died. When the angel stretched out his hand to destroy Jerusalem, the LORD was grieved because of the calamity and said to the angel who was afflicting the people, “Enough! withdraw your hand. [2 Samuel 24:15-16]. Oh,Merciful God! If it had not been for the Lord on my side, where would I be?

Listen, even though God chooses to show mercy, what about when that mercy runs out? What will you do? So, many times we take things of God for granted. Things like salvation. God’s convictions. God’s calling. God’s grace and mercy without realizing the result of doing so. But [Isaiah 5:24] reminds us that if we do not repent and return to our first love, that God’s love will be turned to anger, His blessings will turn to judgment, murder and death of the people will increase, enemy nations will threaten to attack—suddenly and overwhelmingly—and all trusted defenses will fail. It happened to Israel. It will happen to us if we don’t soon change our ways. I tell you, it’s past time to look to God, repent and beg His mercy because the similarities of the six woes in [Isaiah 5] and how they relate to us, especially America today are astounding.

Sound the Alarm: Judgment is Coming! Blow the trumpet in Zion; let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand- a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come. Blow the Shofar! Another army is approaching… this one not of locust but men… who attack, scaling walls and entering houses… and this too will be a “Day of the Lord.”

The message God has given to proclaim; God has run out of patience with your unbelief and punishment is on the horizon: For He says, even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before Me, my heart would not go out to this people. Send them away from my presence! Let them go! And if they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ tell them, ‘This is what the LORD says: “‘Those destined for death, to death; those for the sword, to the sword; those for starvation, to starvation; those for captivity, to captivity.” [Jeremiah 15:1-2].

As Moses wrote in the book of Numbers: “God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” [Numbers 23:19]. This is what the LORD says; while God is full of mercy, His justice will prevail. Make no mistake about it!

“I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.”

“Wake Up, You Drunkards, and Weep!”

By Lou Yeboah

Hear this, you Elders; listen, all who live in the land. Has anything like this ever happened in your days or in the days of your ancestors? Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation. What the locust swarm has left the great locusts have eaten; what the great locusts have left the young locusts have eaten; what the young locusts have left other locusts have eaten. Wake up, you drunkards, and weep! Wail, all you drinkers of wine; wail because of the new wine, for it has been snatched from your lips. [Joel 1:1-5].

See, the Lord is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants. [Isaiah 24:1]. The Lord said to me, “From the north disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land. I am about to summon all the peoples of the northern kingdoms,” declares the Lord. [Jeremiah 1:14-19]. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. [Joel 2:31; Acts 2:20].

Weep and howl, cry out unto the Lord himself, repent of your sins, wake up, for the Prophet Joel saw a terrible sight. He saw a locust invasion in the land of Judah. The locusts came in four stages and absolutely reduced the land to bare ground, and the people to poverty and disease. Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us, but he will bind up our wounds. [Hosea 6:1]. God warn; it is decision time [Joel 3:14]. All areas of society will be affected by the devastation caused by the locust invasion. The entire nation, including the priests, is told to mourn. Nothing will be left in the aftermath of the locusts. The fields, the ground, the grain, the new wine, the wheat and barley, the vine and all the fruiting trees… all destroyed. Wake Up, You Drunkards, and Weep!

And if in spite of this you do not obey me but act with hostility toward me, I will act with furious hostility toward you; I will also discipline you seven times for your sins. You will eat the flesh of your sons; you will eat the flesh of your daughters. I will destroy your high places, cut down your shrines, and heap your lifeless bodies on the lifeless bodies of your idols; I will reject you. I will reduce your cities to ruins and devastate your sanctuaries. I will not smell the pleasing aroma of your sacrifices. I also will devastate the land, so that your enemies who come to live there will be appalled by it. I will scatter you among the nations, and I will draw a sword to chase after you. Your land will become desolate, and your cities will become ruins.” — [Leviticus 26:27-33].

Wake Up, You Drunkards, and Weep! Judgment will come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her. [Revelation 18:8].

Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So, the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them. The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon. One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things. [Revelation 9:1-12].

Indeed, the day of the Lord is terrible and dreadful— who can endure it? Even now— this is the Lord’s declaration— turn to me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Tear your hearts, not just your clothes, and return to the Lord your God. For He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in faithful love, and He relents from sending disaster— [Joel 2:11-14].

Wake Up, You Drunkards, and Weep!

“Now Hear This, O Foolish People Without Heart, Who Have Eyes but Do Not See, Who Have Ears but Do Not Hear.” [John 5:21]

By Lou Yeboah

The events of the last days is bringing a trap [allurements, baits, enticements] to you the people of this world. You have no idea it’s a baited snare designed to take you down, says the Lord. It will look like calm, but the real danger lies in what you can’t see. It is the unseen enemy lurking in the barren brush that blends in with the crowd, who represents the grave danger. Make no mistake, this is a war. Be not deceived, the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy. “Escape for your life. Look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.” – [Genesis 19:17].

Unfortunately, those who miscalculate the times, believing there’s plenty of time to come to Jesus Christ, and put it off, “shall not escape.” For, when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Therefore, let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ [1 Thessalonians 5:3-6;9]. Get under God’s umbrella so that you will be counted as one who escaped. I tell you; judgment is so near I can almost hear its footsteps outside. Some will escape. Some will not. You can choose. But I know, like one crying “WOLF” there will be many who hear my warning to seek God while they still can, whose ears are dull of hearing from being told so many times. But it is still my responsibility to warn you from the Lord not to delay seeking Him.

For as He approached and saw the city, He wept over it, saying, “If you knew this day what it [would bring] but now it is hidden from your eyes. For the days will come on you when your enemies will build an embankment against you, surround you, and hem you in on every side. They will crush you and your children within you to the ground, and they will not leave one stone on another in you, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.” [Luke 19:41-44].

Foolish people without heart, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear. The end is at hand. Time is running out. [Romans 13:11] It will not be long before this present age as you know it will end, it is later than you think. And that’s why Satan has marked you for destruction. Your enemy has turned up the heat. He is stalking you like a lion, hiding in the grass, waiting for an opportunity to pounce. Dare not be ignorant of his methods and strategies of warfare against you. You see, the devil knows this war is his last chance, because only a short time remains before I [Christ] returns. He knoweth that he hath but a brief time.” And he will stop at nothing to destroy you. He’s going to use all of his weapons against you – all subtleties, deceits, and devices. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: [1 Peter 5:8-9].

Wake up. Watch and Pray! It will not be long before this present age as you know it will end, it is later than we think.

“Now Consider This, You Who Forget God…Or I Will Tear You in Pieces, With No One to Rescue You.” [Psalms 50:22]

By Lou Yeboah

Hear, O earth: behold, I am bringing disaster on this people, because they have not listened to My words, and as for My law, they have rejected it [Jeremiah 6:19]. Oh, how great and bitter it is going to be for those who refuse to repent, when it is forever too late. You will cry, “Lord, Lord, open unto [me] and I will say, “I know you not.” [Genesis 27:34; Genesis 27:38; Matthew 25:11, 10, 12]. Then those of you who escape will remember Me among the nations to which they will be carried captive, how I have been hurt by their adulterous hearts which turned away from Me, and by their eyes which played the harlot after their idols [Ezekiel 6:9]. Surely, as a woman treacherously departs from her lover, so you have dealt treacherously with Me… [Jeremiah 3:20]. “You neglected the Rock who begot you and forgot the God who gave you birth. [Deuteronomy 32:18]. Consider this, I will tear you in pieces.

They were not concerned about His message of salvation. He wanted so desperately to lead His people to everlasting life, but they were not only blind, but they were also willfully blind and willfully ignorant. Repeatedly He would say with tears in His voice, “Woe unto you, Scribes and Pharisees. Woe unto you who have ears and hear not. Woe unto you that are full, for you shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh, for the time is coming when you shall mourn and weep.” [Luke 6: 24-25]. “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem how I’ve wanted to save you and gather you as a hen gathereth her chicks, but you would not listen” [Matthew 23:37].

I gave you cleanness of teeth by sending you famine and drought so that you would turn back to Me – yet you have not returned to me. I withheld rain from you so you would return back to Me – yet you have not returned to me. I sent blight, mildew, and locust – so that you would return unto Me, but you have not returned. Your young men were killed in battle with a sword – yet you did not return to me. Because you will not return to me, prepare to meet your God.” And meet Him without ever turning to Him in life on earth. Meet Him – Condemned. [Amos 4:6-12].

I ask you, what are you waiting for? Repent NOW before it is too late! For, “We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there “is” such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action.” [Martin Luther King, Jr.] Repent NOW before it is too late!

The Bible warns that every human being is subject to sudden death. No one has the promise of another day or hour. Our days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle like flowers that quickly fade [Job 7:6; Job 14:2], and like a mist that appears for a little time then vanishes. [James 4:14]. Consider this, you who forget God.

My spirit shall not always strive with man” [Genesis 6:3].

But they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, until there was no remedy. [2 Chronicles 36:16]

“And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So, the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them” [Genesis 6:6-7; Genesis 7:22–23].

In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them… One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things. Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar, which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So, the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, day, month, and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus, I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire, the smoke, and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. [Revelation 9:1-21].

“I’ve Told You on Many Occasions to Repent, but You Refuse to Listen”

By Lou Yeboah

Okay, no more warnings! Have it your way. But you ought to know that there will be terrible consequences for those who refuse to repent- those who choose to do their own thing. Choosing the creation, but refusing the Creator, what’s wrong with you? You will perish [Luke 13: 3, 5] even though that is not what I desire- [2 Peter 3:9). Even now you are filling up a “store house” of wrath that will one day be poured out on you – [Romans 2:5. Acts 17:30] “I have sharpened My sword; I have bent My bow and made it ready [Psalms 7:12]. Since you have refused to repent, now it’s my prerogative, and I will do what I want, says the Lord.

I tell you, making decisions without considering the consequences is foolish and dangerous. The price to pay is always catastrophic. Listen, God in His justice and forbearance has given you opportunity after opportunity to turn to Him, but you refuse, but God will not be mock; you will suffer the consequences of your choice. If a sinner can be sent to hell for all eternity, this clearly demonstrates God’s full hatred toward disobedience.

As people whom God deeply cares about, he wants us to deal with disobedience wisely. Remember, nobody can ever please God while living in rebellion. Rebelling against Him is equivalent to rejecting Him and His Word. Repent or Perish! The choice is your!

A warning about a coming day: In [Revelation 6:8] one-fourth of the world’s population are killed, and the remaining three-fourths of the people survive. In [Revelation 9:18] one-third of these survivors are killed. Even after half of the world’s population has been killed, the survivors refused to repent of their sin and idolatry – [Revelation 9:20-21]. Later, God let the sun scorch them with a burning heat. At this time, they not only refused to repent and glorify God, but they also cursed him – [Revelation 16:9]. Then God sent darkness, along with pain [pain from the burns and sores of the previous judgment]. The people still refused to repent of what they had done – [Revelation 16:11[. At that point, there is nothing left for God to do, except to return and bring judgment upon them, at the final battle of Armageddon. [Revelation 16:21]

Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it shall be more tolerable in the judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades.

Even though God has brought correction to a rebellious people to turn them back to truth, they would not listen but instead hardened their hearts to remain in opposition to God. Failure to repent while still able seals their doom when they die. [Luke 10:13-15].

[Revelation chapter 16] man’s last chance to turn.

They didn’t want to hear what God had to say. They refused to apply the words of prophesy to themselves and to take the shame for what they had done. They had no remorse, no guilt. The prophet’s words did not move the people to a place of repentance. Their hearts were too hardened, and their necks were too stiffened to take heed to the forewarning of impending doom. They didn’t want to hear that they were not right in the eyes of God. They didn’t

want to hear words of rebuke that lets them know they have fallen short of the glory of God. They didn’t want to hear sound doctrine. Therefore, they refused to listen at all. They wanted their ears tickled with words of blessings and peace. Doom and gloom was not the type of prophet they wanted so they refused to hear and obey.

“As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?” [Ezekiel 33:11].

Now is the time of God’s favor. Now is the day of salvation.” [2 Corinthians 6:2]. Repent! And do this, understanding the present time: The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. [Romans 12:11-14].

“A Warning Left Unheeded Will Have Eternal Consequences Beyond Human Comprehension!

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

It is shocking how often we ignore crucial warnings, until it is too late. Yet, we all understand what warning mean in our daily lives, and we know what the risks are for ignoring them, but what about the warnings that exist for our spiritual lives? What is the result of continually ignoring God’s warnings?” [Amos 4:6-12; Isaiah 5:24 paraphrased] says that God’s love will be turned to anger, His blessings will turn to judgment, murder and death of the people will increase, enemy nations will threaten to attack—suddenly and overwhelmingly—and all trusted defenses will fail. It happened before and it will happen again, because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Listen, throughout Bible history, God has repeatedly provided man with more than “ample warning” of His impending judgments. His purpose for warning man is to motivate him to repent and come back to Him. Let us not be like the people in Noah’s day. For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every violation and act of disobedience received a just punishment, how will you escape if you neglect so great a salvation? How will you escape inevitable judgment if you ignore the warning? If you refuse this invitation, this incomprehensible gift of grace? You will not. What catastrophe! Eternal consequences beyond human comprehension!

God’s final appeal, “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost” [Revelation 22:17]. But lest you put it off, the Bible goes on in the next to the last verse to warn, “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly” [Revelation 22:20].

Then I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them. The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it had been made bitter.

The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light might be darkened, and a third of the day might be kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night.

Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, “Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!” [Revelation 8].

For all of God’s remedial efforts had failed. The people had turned against Him more and more. With great reluctance He releases them to their own destructions. [2 Chronicles 36:15-17] Even though God had compassion on them and wanted to save them from this, they were not willing.

“Woe, Woe, Woe!”  In one day, in one hour, her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the LORD God who judges her.” [Revelation 18:8].

They Mock and Laugh at the Idea of Future Judgment!

By Lou Coleman-Yeboah

Asking, “Where is this God?” “Where is the Promise of His coming?” All that talk about judgment day and the coming of the Lord is just preaching, just so many words. These people mock the idea of the Second Coming of Christ and the end of the world [2 Peter 3:3] however, they aren’t just so many words, they are truth and it’s God’s promise! And it doesn’t matter whether you believe it are not. God Word shall not return void! [Isaiah 55:11].

These scoffing hypocrites won’t examine the evidence. They don’t read the Bible. They don’t want to know the truth. They are scoffers, walking after their own lusts! So, they reject what the Bible teaches about the judgment of God! But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men [2 Peter 3:3-7].

And pretty soon things are going to get ominous, and the little rumbling is going to become a big rumbling. And then, out of nowhere a loud boom of thunder. A few seconds later the lightning will zing across the sky in the distance. Then suddenly the wind will begin to blow hard out of nowhere and the rain will begin to spatter, marking just the beginning of the full fury. Believe it or not! The Book of Revelation reveals the awfulness of God’s wrath. “He [who worships the beast] also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulphur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb” [Revelation 14:10].

“So, the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and the blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse’s bridle, for 1,600 stadia. The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nation’s fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath” [Revelation 16:19-20].

“From [Christ’s] mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. [Revelation 19:15.

Listen, Ezekiel was called to do a job that required him to speak only when God told him to speak. God has conveyed that He is finished with disobedience and hard hearts. Enough was enough, and He was ready to judge and punish His people for their rebellious spirit and actions. [Ezekiel chapters 4 to 7].

A crisis lurking around the corner! Plagues and bloodshed are coming. Bones are going to be scattered, towns laid waste, and the high places of idolatry are going to be demolished. [Ezekiel 7:1-4]. I myself will shave you. I will not look on you with pity or spare you.  [Ezekiel 5:11b]. Because you have forgotten Me and cast Me behind your back, bear now the punishment of your lewdness and your harlotries.” [Ezekiel 23:35].

Flee from the wrath to come [Luke 3:7].

“Except the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved”, [Matthew 13:20].

Yet, “they did not repent… [Revelation 9:21].

But “They Mock and Laugh at the Idea of Future Judgment!” Woe, Woe, Woe, to the inhabitants on the earth… [Revelation 8:3].
