No Corners Cut, No Pacifying, No Round-About Way

“You Hear Them Talk About A New Wave of COVID-19 and…”

By Lou Yeboah

How it will be worst than what we are experiencing now. Well I tell you they are certainly right about one thing, what is to come cannot be compared to any other thing in the history of mankind. The Bible speaks of these days. [2 Timothy 3:1] warns us that “in the LAST DAYS perilous times will come.” Jesus himself spoke of a time that will be so frightening that men would faint from fear and foreboding because of what is coming upon the world. [Luke 21:26]. that they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us,’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us’ and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. [Isaiah 2:10; Hosea 10:8; Luke 23:30; Revelation 6:16]. And when the ordeal end, those who have not repented would have just one thought: What must I do to be saved? [Malachi 4:1-3, 5].”

I tell you, I tremble as I try to speak of this “coming wrath” because, divinity enters into the essence of it. God’s wrath conceived in heaven, confirmed through man, [it will be worst than], final result, reaped through judgment. [Romans 1:18-32]. I tell you, there has already been judgments that could be called the wrath of God, but what is to come is the great day of wrath. [Zephaniah 1:14-16]. This day, the great day of the Lord which is near and hastens quickly is a day of wrath, a day of trouble, distress, a day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of fury and judgment all in one as the prophets have warned and the New Testament writers have warned. [Joel 2:1; Ezekiel 30:3; Joel 3:14; Obadiah 15; Zephaniah 1:7 Revelation 6].

Although this great wrath to come is delayed for a time; it will not always be delayed. The floodgates of God’s wrath will one day be opened, and the awful torrents will come pouring out, and will utterly overwhelm everyone exposed to their fury.  For thus saith the Lord, “I will utterly sweep away everything from the face of the earth. I will sweep away man and beast; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea. I will overthrow the wicked; I will bring distress on men, so that they shall walk like the blind, because they have sinned against the Lord; their blood shall be poured out like dust, and their flesh like dung. [Zephaniah 1:17-18].  Behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble, says the Lord of hosts. So that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts. But behold, before that great and awesome day come, I will send My prophets to warn you. [Malachi 4:1–3, 5]. Take heed to the warnings. Flee from the wrath to come. For the end of all things is at hand.” [1 Peter 4:7]; Behold, I am coming soon. [Revelation 22:7]. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door. [James 5:8–9].

Listen! God is trying to get our attention! These SOON-COMING events are real. They will happen. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.” [John 8:45]. But, God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day.” [Psalm 7:11].  And, whoever does not believe stands condemned already [John 3:18, 36]. I tell you, you must “flee from the coming wrath;” or else, as surely as you are living, the wrath would come upon you, and you will perish under it, and there is only one means of escape from the wrath to come, and that is through Jesus Christ. [1 Thessalonians 1:10].

I want you to know that just as John did not come to say what men wished him to say, but came to discharge the burden of the Lord, and to speak out plainly what was best for men’s eternal and immortal interests, so do I. Necessity is laid upon every person that has been called by God to preach the WHOLE COUNSEL of God and that includes preaching on judgment to come. For I have never spoken on My own initiative or authority, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment regarding what to say and what to speak. [John 12:49]. As God’s servants, this is, in a nutshell, what we’re all called to do. We’re called to do whatever God tells us. There are no ifs, ands, or buts here; there are no conditions for our obedience.

Therefore, I plea to you with tears in my eyes, “Flee from the wrath to come and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” For a voice from heaven tells seven angels, to “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.” These bowls contain plagues, reminiscent of the plagues of Egypt in the book of Exodus. But just like those plagues were designed to get Pharaoh and the Egyptians to repent, to worship God, and let God’s people go, the seven bowls of wrath are designed to get those perpetrating evil in the world to turn and acknowledge God as Lord.

This image of God’s judgment at the end of the Bible is just a snapshot of what the text has been saying all along since Genesis. “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel. [Mark 1:15]. Because what is to come cannot be compared to any other thing in the history of mankind!

“Look Back? Celebrate? But Move Forward!”

By Lou Yeboah

“ I am doing a new thing, says the Lord. Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. [Isaiah 43:19]. It is right before you. Can you not see it?” I am breaking down strongholds, transforming dark places into light places, so look back, celebrate, but move forward! You cannot be content to sit back and do business as usual. You cannot rest on past victories or be paralyzed by past defeats. You are to move forward in faith personally and corporately. Forward from the past to the future. Forward from indulgence to commitment. Forward from me to we. Forward from brokenness to wholeness. Forward from comfortable to awakened.  What’s your “Tell”? Your Song? Your Story? It’s the same one as Joshua and the Israelites – but with some additions. Prophets have been added, like Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel. Kings have joined the story, like David and Solomon. And of course, there’s Me, Jesus, the very center of your identity. So look back, celebrate, but move forward! Because you are people of story. And your stories give your lives context and purpose. Your stories connect you to something beyond the present moment. Your stories bind you to the ancestors and give you glimpses of destinies still beyond the horizon.

I hear the story of the hunter – and Yes, there is good in that story. Yes, there is virtue in that story. Yes, there is hope and wonder and deep gospel truth in that story AND the lion still has a story to tell. Right here, right now, make your own declaration that you will strive to be a people of hunters no more. That you will never stop resisting and working to overthrow the systems that provide for the thriving of some through the oppression of others. That you will never stop working to end the hunt forever.  Commit to telling the stories and praying the prayers and singing the songs of the lion. To promise that they will never be forgotten. And to work for the day when the hunt finally is over. Let this celebration be one of new normals, greater territory, higher heights and deeper depths for us by looking back, celebrating, but moving forward.

I tell you, we cannot underestimate the seriousness of these times right now. Our nation is being torn apart by political Armageddon, civil unrest, social violence, an international pandemic, and economic meltdown.  I am not a prophetess, but I see patterns in God’s Word, adding:  We cannot let the world shut us up, shut us down, shut us out, or shut us in. God created, called, and commissioned us to take our place in this divine intersection. All the days of our life “were written in [his] book before one of them came to be” [Psalm 139:16]. Yes, we have a rendezvous with destiny, and we are God’s people for the moment. Like Esther of old, “We have come to [the kingdom] for such a time as this” [Esther 4:14]—before adding, “Like Israel in the wake of a national, political, and social crisis, we will need men and women like the sons of Issachar “who understood the times and knew what Israel should do” [1 Chronicles 12:32].” Therefore, let as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

From Adam to Jesus, from Jesus to us, imagine the decisions that were made. Decisions that effected the entire human race, decisions of life and death, condemnation and reconciliation, the very fabric of life hung in the balance. And here we sit trying to make up our mind whether to move or not. We read and we study and we marvel at the old and new testament saints of what they did, but didn’t Jesus declare that we could do the same as he and even greater works shall we do. Well, we aren’t going to do anything sitting in Haran. All God is waiting on is us. Our blessings are just in reach, lets get out of Haran, lets get out of Cherith, lets look up, pack up cause we about to move up, to a brighter day a more secure future, in the land where God wants us to be. Look back, celebrate, but move forward!

Celebrating Black History Month!

“My People? Don’t You Worry About A Thing!”

By Lou Yeboah

“I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land.” [Martin Luther King, Jr.]. God has chosen us out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. The LORD did not set his affection on us and chose us, because we were more numerous than other peoples, for we were the fewest of all peoples. But because the LORD loved us and is keeping the oath He swore to our forefathers that He brought out with a mighty hand and redeemed from the land of slavery. [Deuteronomy 7:6-8]. We have been elected. He chose us. Let that continue to encourage you and give you confidence that He will keep you until the end.

Yes, we are the peculiar people of God; all His own, closest to His affections, under His protection, the recipients of all needed. I tell you, don’t you worry about a thing, because God got you! I’m reminded of when the Children of Israel who had come to what seemed like the end of their journey on the banks of Jordan, Moses told them to go on ahead. They began to wonder what would happen to them next, and the Lord said tell them… “Be strong and of a good courage, do not fear, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you; He will not fail you, nor forsake you… [Deuteronomy 31:6]. My people, “I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land.”  We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of God’s possession.” [1 Peter 2:9].

Therefore, “Do not think its strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. [1 Peter 4:12-14]. For we’ve come “Out of Africa” now into the wilderness.  But God has promised to be with us every step of the way.  I tell you, don’t you worry about a thing, God got you!

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written: “… we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.  For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Romans 8:31-39].

Take this confident assurance forward with you through whatever trial or hazard besets you, and faithfully prepare to cross the Jordan, into the land that Christ has giving unto us as He promised to Moses.  From the wilderness and the Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, to the Great Sea in the west shall be our territory. Moving forward knowing that no one shall be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As God was with Moses, so He will be with you; For He said, “I will not fail you or forsake you.  Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to act in accordance with all the law that His servant Moses commanded us, Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, so that you may be successful wherever you go.  [Joshua 1:1-11]. For, He said, “Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, so they will know that I will be with you just as I was with Moses. [Joshua 3:7-8].

I tell you, having monuments to God’s faithfulness that we can look back on can encourage our faith for the future. [Joshua chapter 4]. Even when it seems like we’re not making any progress, the Lord’s command is: “FORWARD MARCH!” [Exodus 14].

Advancing with confidence to that promised inheritance as we celebrate Black History Month!

Lift every voice and sing, Till earth and heaven ring, ring with the harmonies of Liberty. Let our rejoicing rise, high as the listening skies, let it resound loud as the rolling sea. Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us. Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us. Facing the rising sun of our new day begun. Let us march on till victory is won..” [Lift Every Voice and Sing – often called “The Black National Anthem” – was written as a poem by NAACP leader James Weldon Johnson (1871-1938) and then set to music by his brother John Rosamond Johnson (1873-1954) in 1899.]

“You Stiff-Necked People Uncircumcised in Heart and Ears…!”

By Lou Yeboah

You always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you.” [Acts 7:51].  Tell me, if you refuse to obey the law of the land, what will happen to you? You will be punished! Then what do you think will happen when you refuse to obey My Laws? When those in authority command you to do something, you do it, and rightly so, because the Word of God tells you in [Romans 13:1-2] “Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there.  Now since I am sovereignty over all things and persons, tell me, what do you think will happen when you refuse to obey My laws and commands?

I will tell you want will happen. “If you refuse to obey My laws and commands and break the covenant I have made with you, I will punish you. I will bring disaster on you—incurable diseases and fevers that will make you blind and cause your life to waste away. I will turn against you, so that you will be defeated, and those who hate you will rule over you; you will be so terrified that you will run when no one is chasing you.

“If even after all of this you still do not obey me, I will increase your punishment seven times.  I will break your stubborn pride; there will be no rain, and your land will be dry and as hard as iron. “If you still continue to resist me and refuse to obey me, I will again increase your punishment seven times. I will send dangerous animals among you, and they will kill your children, destroy your livestock, and leave so few of you that your roads will be deserted.

“If after all of this you still do not listen to me, but continue to defy me, then I will turn on you and punish you seven times harder than before. I will bring war on you to punish you for breaking our covenant.  I will cut off your food supply, so that ten women will need only one oven to bake all the bread they have. They will ration it out, and when you have eaten it all, you will still be hungry.

“If after all of this you still continue to defy me and refuse to obey me,  then in my anger I will turn on you and again make your punishment seven times worse than before. I will destroy your places of worship on the hills, tear down your incense altars, and throw your dead bodies on your fallen idols. I will make those of you who are in exile so terrified that the sound of a leaf blowing in the wind will make you run. You will run as if you were being pursued in battle, and you will fall when there is no enemy near you.  You will die in exile, swallowed up by the land of your enemies.  The few of you who survive in the land of your enemies will waste away because of your own sin and the sin of your ancestors.”  [Leviticus 26:14-46]

Lesson for Life — Take God At His Word.

What more does God have to do to get your attention, for you to take Him at His Word and do what He wants you to do? If you do not repent and surrender your life unto the Lord, if you don’t get right with God, you are going to Hell! Fear who can cast both soul and body into hell” [Luke 12:4–5]. For God says, He will send His anger against you; He will judge you according to your ways, and He will repay you for all your abominations. For His eye will not spare you, nor will He have pity..” [Ezekiel 7:2-9].

I tell you a day of trouble is near [Isaiah 22:5]. I hear, and my body trembles; my lips quiver at the sound; rottenness enters into my bones; my legs tremble beneath me. [Habakkuk 3:16]. The Bible reveals that the worst, most indescribably terrifying time in the entire history of this planet is soon to occur. What are you waiting for?

From the very beginning, God has shown patience, grace and mercy towards us. But there will comes a time when His patience will run out. [Romans 2:4–5? 2 Peter 3:8–10]. Right now He is offering relief from His judgment for the repentant. Don’t wait! Don’t delay! The whole Bible story leads to a day when God will deal with all sin fully, finally, and forever. This will be the day of wrath, when God will recompense every evil and bring to judgment every sin.

You are given a second chance by God, do not waste time to cease the opportunity and act on it immediately!

“And the Lord God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy.” [2 Chronicles 36:15-20].

“I Have Set Before Thee, Life and Death…!”

By Lou Yeboah

Whatcha going to do? Because I tell you, Time is Running Out, says the Lord! Don’t think that you have forever to make up your mind, because you don’t! Make your eternal salvation secure TODAY! What is your life? It is like a flower that comes forth and then withers. [Job 14:2]. It is like a mist that appears for a little time then vanishes. [James 4:14]. Listen, life is uncertain. There are no guarantees.  You may die tonight. Don’t gamble with your soul. Tomorrow is not a promise. Now, I have set before thee, life and death, whatcha going to do?

I tell you, we tend to take life for granted. We assume tomorrow is a given. All we have for certain is TODAY. The Bible warns that every human being is subject to sudden death. No one has the promise of another day or hour. As [Amos 6:1] warns “woe to you who are complacent in Zion.” God will “deliver up the city and everything in it.”[verse 8].

Look, according to [WorldOMeter and Medindia ] it is estimated that approximately 150,000 people die daily. People who died yesterday had plans just like us. But unfortunately, they did not live to see those plans. The “Parable of the Rich Man” [Luke 12:16–21] who stored food in his barns, ate, drank, and felt complacent about tomorrow. What happened to him? God said, “You fool, tonight I will take your life from you.”

I beseech you to accept God’s offer of life. The choice He gives is a choice that will affect how you live your life in the NOW and where you will spend eternity in the FUTURE, whether in HEAVEN or HELL. Take advantage of the opportunities God’s grace provides. Joshua said, “Choose for yourselves THIS DAY whom you will serve.” [Joshua 24:15]. Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; but I have come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly.” [John 10:10].

I tell you, “NOW is the time of God’s favor, NOW is the day of salvation.” [2 Corinthians 6:1-2]. You need to choose, and it is URGENT! Jesus Christ is coming back. [Matthew 24:44] says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Understand the present time. Salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.” [Romans 13:11-12]. “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.” [Ephesians 5:15-20].

“But if your heart turns away and you do not hear, but are led astray… I declare to you today that you shall perish. I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.” [Deuteronomy 30:15-20]

This is the Word of the Lord!

“As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” [Joshua 24:15]

“Ignoring God’s Warnings ALWAYS Breeds Tragedy!”

By Lou Yeboah

You better know that you know. And if you didn’t know, now you know. He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on listening, but do not perceive; Keep on looking, but do not understand.’ [Isaiah 6:9]. So I will choose their punishments and will bring on them what they dread. Because I called, but no one answered; I spoke, but they did not listen. And they did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight. [Isaiah 66:4]. Therefore, I say again, remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lamp-stand out of its place. [Revelation 2:5]. Take the gift – “Second Chance,” and use it wisely. Repent! For there are serious consequences that would result if My instructions are ignored and My laws are violated [see Deuteronomy 28].

Listen, God is patient, but God is just. In His mercy, He provides us time to repent. In His grace, He allows tragedy to be a warning about judgment rather than executing wrath on us. Make no mistake; it is mercy for us to be warned in this way. But, God will not be patient forever. For those who ignore His kind warnings, like the people in Noah’s day, they likewise will perish also. Don’t you wait until its too late! “For NOW is the acceptable time, for NOW is day of Salvation” [2 Corinthians 6:2].

As Joshua challenged the people to choose who they would serve! The same choice stands before you today! Forsake the foolish, and live, and go in the way of understanding. For as [Hebrews 10:26; Isaiah 58: 1], says, “If you deliberately keep on sinning after you have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire…”

Do not receive the grace of God in vain. Do not ignore, neglect or cast aside God’s offer of mercy. Respond to it now, as it is offered to you. It is a mercy call. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction…”[Matthew 7: 13-14].

“As I live! declares the Lord God, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die?” [Ezekiel 33:11].

“Flowing From My Heart Are the Issues of My Heart? It’s Gratefulness!”

By Lou Yeboah

It may sound odd in the middle of a pandemic, but never have I been more thankful than I am now.  Awake, alive, grateful! “Thanks be to God for His inexpressible gift!” [2 Corinthians 9:15].

I tell you, we should not let a day go by when we don’t thank God for His grace and mercy. [Ephesians 5:19-20]. For every day that we are alive, we have a reason to give thanks. Even though we don’t get to choose the circumstances, we don’t get to choose what life throws at us, we don’t get to choose what other human beings do to us, but we do get to choose how we respond.  And that’s both a privilege and a blessing. I tell you, “Flowing from my heart, are the issues of my heart, it’s gratefulness.”

Some may ask, “How can anyone give thanks with so much suffering and want throughout the land? How can people praise a God who permits such widespread anguish? Why should we be thankful? David answered the question in [Psalms 103:2]: “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and forget none of His benefits.” “Count your blessings, name them one by one,” then thank God for His marvelous mercies! The Psalmist said in [Psalm 92:1-2] it is a good thing to thank the Lord for His loving-kindness in the morning and His faithfulness in the night. I tell you, “Flowing from my heart, are the issues of my heart, it’s gratefulness.”

“Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” [Colossians 2:7].

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” [Psalms 103:1-5].

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever!” [Psalms 107:1].

Praying many blessings over you in this season of thankfulness and joy. Have a happy and glorious Christmas!

“Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” [Ephesians 5:19-20].

“You Say, “She’s Always Talking About Repentance, Danger on the Horizon and God’s Wrath….Don’t Nobody Want to Hear That!”

By Lou Yeboah

Yeah I know, but the call of a watchman, is to faithfully deliver God’s message, including all of God’s rebukes and warnings. It is a watchman responsibility to warn the people of the coming judgment.  You see, there are people today in harm’s way – in peril because of their sin, and like the prophets and Apostles, and even Christ Himself, we too must warn unbelievers of this coming dreadful day and compel them to flee to Christ, who alone is mighty to save. So as Isaiah said, “I will not keep silent because of Zion, and I will not keep still because of Jerusalem, until her righteousness shines like a bright light and her salvation, like a flaming torch.” [Isaiah 62:1]. I can’t make you heed the warning? I am not called to force you to change, but I am called to alert you. It is an eternal life and death situation for both me as a watchmen and for the lost. [Isaiah 62:6-9, Ezekiel 33:1-9, Jeremiah 1:13-17, John 6:66-69].

You see, the word of the Lord came to me: “[Daughter] of man, speak to your people and tell them: Suppose I bring the sword against a land, and the people of that land select someone from among them, appointing them as their watchman, and  see the sword coming against the land and blows their trumpet to warn the people. Then, if anyone hears the sound of the trumpet but ignores the warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head. Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but ignored the warning, his blood is on his own hands. If he had taken warning, he would have saved his life. However, if the watchman sees the sword coming but doesn’t blow the trumpet, so that the people aren’t warned, and the sword comes and takes away their lives, then they have been taken away because of their iniquity, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood. “As for you, [daughter] of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me. If I say to the wicked, ‘Wicked one, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood. But if you warn a wicked person to turn from his way and he doesn’t turn from it, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have saved your life.” [Ezekiel 33:1-9].

To know that you have done all you can to let people know of God’s coming wrath even if it offends them, it is a task that is not optional. “Again the word of the Lord came to me inquiring, “What do you see?  And I replied, “I see a boiling pot, its lip tilted from the north to the south.” Then the Lord said to me, “Disaster will be poured out from the north on all who live in the land. Indeed, I am about to summon all the clans and kingdoms of the north.” This is the Lord’s declaration. They will come, and each king will set up his throne at the entrance to Jerusalem’s gates. They will attack all her surrounding walls and all the other cities of Judah. “I will pronounce My judgments against them for all the evil they did when they abandoned Me to burn incense to other gods and to worship the works of their own hands. “Now, get ready. Stand up and tell them everything that I command you. Do not be intimidated by them or I will cause you to cower before them.” [Jeremiah 1:13-17].

“When I heard these words, I sat down and wept. I mourned for a number of days, fasting and praying before the God of heaven. I said, Yahweh, the God of heaven, the great and awe-inspiring God who keeps His gracious covenant with those who love Him and keep His commands, let Your eyes be open and Your ears be attentive to hear Your servant’s prayer that I now pray to You day and night for Your servants, the Israelites. I confess the sins we have committed against You. Both I and my father’s house have sinned. We have acted corruptly toward You and have not kept the commands, statutes, and ordinances You gave Your servant Moses. Please remember what You commanded Your servant Moses: “If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the peoples. But if you return to Me and carefully observe My commands, even though your exiles were banished to the ends of the earth, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place where I chose to have My name dwell.” They are Your servants and Your people. You redeemed them by Your great power and strong hand.” [Nehemiah 1:4-10]

I tell you, we have had, and continue to have, plenty of warning, and plenty of time to prepare. The storm is on the horizon, and it will surely come, unless God intervenes, so get ready for its coming. And know that no one is excluded from Jesus’ demand to repent. If we will not repent, Jesus has one word for us, “Woe, to you” [Matthew 11:21].

“Therefore I testify to you this day, that I am innocent of the blood of all men, for I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.” [Acts 20:26-27]. Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand!

“Thus Saith the Lord!”

By Lou Yeboah

“I’ve been telling you for a long time now to repent. But you have not heeded to a word I said. Well I got news for you. If you think this year was bad, next year, will be a Tsunami, Hurricane, and Storm, all in one. Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But I tell you, it shall be more tolerable in the judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you.” [Luke 10:13–15]. I’ve warned you in January 2020 that the New Year would not be what you expected. Did you listen? No.  I am alerting you once more, come 2021, the New Year will not be what you may expect!

Man has never experienced anything like what will occur during the Great Tribulation. And it is prophesied to come upon us suddenly—and unexpectedly! In [Luke 21:34-35] Jesus said it would be like a snare—catching us completely off guard. Isaiah compared it to the collapse of a high, swelling wall “whose breaking comes suddenly at an instant.” [Isaiah 30:13].

Sudden destruction—that’s what Christ associates with the events leading to His return. And it all unfolds at the very time most people least expect it. “For when they shall say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” [1 Thessalonians 5:3]. It will be so bad that even ambassadors of peace will weep bitterly according to [Isaiah 33:7].

When we look at the four seals of [Revelation 6], we have to understand them in the context of God’s age long message to mankind. When these horsemen make their rides, it will be after repeated warning and pleading from God to turn from sin and live righteously based on His eternal law of love toward God and man.

I’m convinced that all the fearful things we see coming upon the earth right now — all have to do with the coming of Christ. Beyond all the war clouds gathering, beyond the gross darkness covering the earth, a cloud is being formed in heaven. And one day soon Christ is going to enter that cloud and reveal himself to the whole world. [Luke 21:31].

Man’s world faces an inevitable death. Every dimension of our culture, every dimension of our society is escalating on the down slide, being devastated by depravity, more and more given over to lust and pride and self-indulgence, immorality and rejection of God and Christ, and the truth of Scripture. And thus man is sentenced; his whole world is sentenced to divine wrath. [Revelation 14:10].

Listen, when God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He told them: “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you” [Exodus 15:26]. However, if they disobeyed and broke the covenant, they could expect disease to afflict them, their families and their nation.

Notice: “But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God.?.?. the Lord will make the pestilence cling to you until He has consumed you from the land into which you go to possess. The Lord will smite you with consumption, with fever and inflammation.?.?. and the tumors, the scurvy and the itch, from which you cannot be healed. The Lord will smite you with madness and blindness and dismay of [mind and] heart” [Deuteronomy 28:15, 21-22, 27-28].

[2 Samuel 16] says there is wrath gone out from the Lord.  [Isaiah 13:9] said, “Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, cruel with fury and burning anger and He will exterminate sinners.” Amos cried in chapter 4 verse 12, “Prepare to meet your God.”

LORD HAVE MERCY ON OUR SOUL!

God instructed Jeremiah to give his people this warning: “Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.” [Jeremiah 7:27-28].

“I Warn You, As I Warned You Before!”

By Lou Yeboah

“I will not put up with sin forever.  I am going to open Hell to you, and show you what it is like, maybe that will help you get some get right. You see, I am about to destroy the city, and I’m telling you, if you don’t change your ways, you will perish under the wrath which is SOON TO COME. So, “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two hands and go into hell…And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where worm never dies, and the fire is never quenched.” [Matthew 5:20-30; Mark 9:43-48]. “I warn you, as I warned you before!”

Having heard all your life about the grace and mercy of God, you have taken His grace for granted. Woe unto you! Exhibiting the spirit of Esau, in which unfortunately you may well discover his end too.  You see, Esau’s life is the story of a man who traded his soul for fleeting pleasure. He sold his birthright, which included not only material benefits and family privileges, but spiritual blessings as well, for a bowl of soup. It says that “he ate and drank, and rose and went on his way” 25:34]. He didn’t have a second thought about what he had done. He did it, it felt good, and only much later did he come to regret it.  Esau wanted to repent of his actions, but it was too late. “He found no place for repentance, though he sought for it with tears.”[Hebrews 12:17]. Esau sought to reverse the catastrophic outcome of his mistake/decision, but was rejected because he had no further opportunity to repent. The damage was done and there was no turning back.

May each of us learn from Esau, and not wait until it is too late to consider the cost of our decisions and actions. God is good to allow time for us to repent of our sins by delaying His judgment. But don’t think that we have all the time in the world, to repent. Because according to Genesis 6:3-5, it reminds us that the “Lord spirit shall not strive-with man always.” A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.” [Proverbs 22:3]. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. [Isaiah 55:6]. Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. [Romans 11:22].

“Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?… Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. [Ezekiel 18:21, 30]. “Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” [Isaiah 1:18].

“The great day of the Lord is near – near and coming quickly. See, the Lord is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish… In the fire of his jealousy the whole world will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live in the earth.”  [Isaiah 66:15-16; Zephaniah 1:14-18]. “The great day of the Lord is near ? near and coming quickly.

May the God of heaven give you understanding in all things which concern his glory, and your eternal good.
